Interesting info about Pats locker room from Breer

Why exactly was Seau brought back? Wasn't he brought back for this?

Or ... does he feel like because he's not playing a lot he's a bit timid in the locker room?

I listened to a couple of interviews(Sirius NFL and Mad Dog on Sirius) of Seau leading up to the last Jets game and in both of them he referred to the game as being an away game. That worried me.

He had his tv show to promote.

I think our boys need some serious inspirado. I'm talking some ID4 presidents speech + Mickey Loves ya + Gladiator + This is Sparta! + Braveheart + I have a Dream + Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall! +Mr. Drummonds words of wisdom after Arnold bout got reamed by that bike guy

Don't think he's timid at all, but when he rants, you have to figure a cancer like AD isn't listening, you have to think this rubs off on the others, especially the younger players.

I've been on teams where the team camadarie was ruined by just one player.

Sometimes that's all it takes.

Gee I wish I could be as nonchalant as this team, there'd be a lot less dead hookers I 'll tell you that

Meriweather has enormous influence on the defense. He's a loud kid and you can tell the DB's look up to him. He clearly has the most raw talent in the secondary, but if he doesn't have a serious, winning mentality then I don't want the defense to be built around him; we'd be better off trading him and cutting our losses.

Hawkins says the losses of the offseason can't just happen without the locker room paying a toll for them. "You're gonna have a dropoff in mentality."

"They were all about winning," Hawkins said. "I can remember (Richard) Seymour jumping all over the rookies about jumping around and playing music loud. It was just a very professional place there."

But wait some guys on PatsFans told me Seymour was a lockerroom cancer.

Where is Seau? He's not playing. Shouldn't he be doing this leadership thing?

They're laughing, and I'm drunkenly hurling empty plastic beer cups around in a Vegas Racing & Sports Book in anger... interesting.:steamed:

This is the same kind of horsesh&t that happened after the 2007 SB loss.....several of the guys took the loss hard like a true Patriot and real competitor would......many others were interviewed laughing and joking after the loss.......meanwhile I broke my cell phone, computer, went into deep depression for several weeks unable to watch or read anything to do with sports. We have some "cancers" on the team that need to be removed.....Need to get some leaders on this team........Burgess, AD should be distant memories right now.....that would send a message.....but you need to trade them off for something I guess....

Who was laughing while being interviewed after they lost the 07 SB? I dont recall anyone laughing.

You took the loss quite hard yourself, does that mean that your a more passionate fan than people that didnt break anything or go into depression?

That's because some of the people on here have their heads buried so far up Belichick's ass that they can't see the light of day. There have been a few people on here (and I'm not going to name names) who I honestly can't remember seeing them say ONE negative thing about BB's moves and/or coaching strategy. Not once. Take it stride though. These guys, to me, aren't nearly as bad as the trolls who dare to call themselves Pats fans.

Isn't it a curiosity that the ones who are trouble are also overpaid non-performers? Hopefully, the Pats won't become like the Red Sox and end up paying players to play somewhere else. Obviously, there aren't any accolades in that type of strategy.
