I for one am glad that we had this loss now.
I prefer them not to lose on my birthday myself.

I don't know where to start with this post. You honestly believe that not only does Brady call all the plays, but that he calls them to pad his stats? You honestly believe Brady is that type of quarterback?
This is what others in this thread are talking about. The constant knee-jerking is reaching unbelievable levels of stupidity.
A careful observer of the Pats will recognize certain similarities between this game and a game vs the Chiefs in Arrowhead circa 2005. That was the pass-happy Pats under McDaniels at their worst. If the Pats maintain their current offensive philosophy, excessively favoring the pass with the running game as an afterthought, they will not win another Lombardi. Any longtime fan of this team, and the NFL in general, knows this. Far from being a "knee-jerk" reaction, it is a judgment informed by historical knowledge of this game.
After long service, Brady has received the honorary position of "emeritus" O-coordinator; he has become the prime-mover behind the teams offensive game plan going into each game, in addition to being responsible for audibles at the line. My contention is that another strong voice is needed, to counterbalance the natural desire of a great Qb to pass the ball. I hope that strong voice belongs to Bill O'Brien. The team is not always at its best when Brady is throwing, a philosophy Manning finally embraced the year the Colts won their only SB; Marino never subscribed to that philosophy, and his reluctance to do so helped doom his title hopes. Sometimes running the ball is best for a team, even when the QB is an all-timer.
Unfortunately, Qbs, being the most self-confident and hypercompetitive sportsmen on earth, are frequently unable or unwilling to acknowledge their own limitations within the context of a team game.
That is when coaching becomes crucial for team success. A savvy, assertive O-coordinator, with the full backing of his Head coach, must direct the wild competitiveness of great individual performers, who at times become unbalanced in the heat of the action.
"Im disgusted to be a Patriots fan today"
yeah thats more than annoyed.

I feel your pain, it's my birthday today, but yesterday was my birthday bash. The loss but a damper on the festivities...:bricks:

I was actually at the game.............. Watched the collapse live. Traditionally, after bad losses, I'm ussually unconsolable and anti-social for 2-3 days in a row.
I'm disappointed in the loss and this defense is really weak right now, but I'm not gonna be as bad as usual because watching the game live, I saw some things and have a different perspective of the game they watch was probably shown on TV.
1) This ain't your typical Bills team. I've seen every Pats @ Bills game for the last 5 years. This team is different. Their teams in the past woulda quit down 21 points. This team lost to a good football team. It's sucks, but it's beats the "aw sh!t" loss to Cleveland or some other crappy team we have no business lossing to.
2) The officials handed this game to Buffalo. The calls were terrible. Both sides actually, but the Pats got the crap end of the stick at really inopportune times. I'm not a blame the refs kinda guy, but watching it live......... they totally impacted this game in the favor of the Bills.
3) Even in the loss, I was able to see some good things about some of our rooks. Ridley is going to be great and Solder is a beast. They really out-played our veterans there today.
On the not so good side.
1) I've been an ardant supporter, but Ocho ain't getting it. It's getting close to time to fold up the tents on that project.
2) Our D line was pretty bad today. Ryan had "brady-like" time to throw and our DB's are not nearly as good as we think.
3) That was the wackiest last 3 minutes of a game I've evern seen. I have to watch it on TV to even figure out WTF happened.
In the end, this team will be a good one, but there is a good deal of work to go to. I'm not gonna cry to hard on this loss because I watched it happened (sounds weird to say, but it's true). It was the Bills day, every ball bounced there way after 8 years of having it bounce ours.
Sleep on it guys............ You'll feel better in the morning.
I think it is more of fan's being dissapointed and frustrated than just down right *****ing and moaning over the team and coaches. I am upset that Ocho failed to convert the touchdown and that the defence was horrible to watch.
I have *****ed about it yes but this is what a forum is for, venting out that frustration and anger so we don't go to the shed and get the shotgun out......
Cmon now.
If people want to vent about the game, I see nothing wrong with that. While I may find some of the comments ridiculous, I'm not afraid to discuss any topic. But if everyone up here had the same opinion, we wouldn't have much to talk about.
I'm really not a fan of censorship.
Personally, I enjoyed the game even if it was a loss. There were mistakes, sure, but it was still hard fought.
I find the OP brand of Fandom annoying as hell. I am allowed to be upset at a disgusting loss, I am a fan, I should CARE. Being upset, frustrated and down is a part of having an emotional connection to something. I care and invest a lot of emotional energy into this team.
Not too mention, when this game is a physical embodiment of "I told you so" that the little voice in my head kept telling me about the failure to improve the weakness of the teams past.
Nothing was done to address the pass rush, our DBs aren't good enough to cover for 5-7 seconds, and we can't stop anyone when we need it.
Our offense wins and losses games now.
Gee Silly Me, i didn't know we were only aloud to post happy positive things here, everything is all candy canes, lollipops, and unicorns The fact is Bill OBriens play calling has been an issue for years, and its not just me who has brought it up. Except for two months last year nov. and dec. his play calling has always been questionable. Why would he have TB pass so often when the team is up by THREE (3) TD's? pretty much abandon the run in the second half, he was calling plays like the Pats were behind in stead of in front. What OC would call for running play after running play when the team is behind at the end of the Fourth quarter and Needs to score quickly? Who would continuously fail to make any half time adjustments....l BOB thats who. Absolute Homers are just as bad as Trolls imhoPeople are mistaking being upset and venting and being Chicken Littles and loser fans. There are people on this board who have a part of them who are rooting for this team to fail (not consciously) just so they can biatch about their favorite targets whether it is Ochocinco, Bill O'Brien, or whoever.
BTW, the "I told you so" fan is the worse type of fan. They secretely root for the team to fail so they can say "See I told you <certain player> was going to be a bust" or "See I told you that they didn't fix this problem". They relish in their own personal satisfaction that they were right at the expense of the team.
I don't have any problem with people complaining and venting after a loss. That is not what I am talking about. I am talking about the people who seem to be only happy when they are miserable and there is a part of them that want this team to fail. I used to laugh at Red Sox fans for this and now I see it with Pats fans. Even in wins, these same people are biatching about something.
