I've seen Gronk play once in in person so far this year and I have to agree he did seem to be lumbering just a bit. Nothing major, but if he's running at 90% hes's still damn good and will demand double teams and be a reliable option in the redzone which is what matters for the offense. I dont know what the comparison to Kelce accomplishes. IMO It's a pointless discussion really.

Gronk's yards per reception are basically the same as they were in 2014 and a bit higher than his rookie year. If he's lost any speed it's not actually translating to a meaningful difference in yards per play.

His bigger problem is he was the only credible weapon on the team until they traded for Gordon, Edelman came back and Michael started playing like a quality NFL starter instead of a tentative rookie.

Gronk is a little gimpy right now so it’s really for the best if we don’t force anything on him unless we need too. It’s better and healthier for everyone involved if we spread the ball around. Later in the season and come playoffs is when we should really see who is the best Te in history.

Been saying same things about Graham for a while now. As long as those players are not efficient when inline blocking they are big (slot) receivers and certainly don't have the same value as a player like Gronk.

Gronk is almost a 10 year veteran with a lot of surgeries, what do they want?

Gronk is the GOAT TE and has 2 rings and put on a show on the last SB that unfortunately we lost because we fielded the worst defense that ever played in a SB.

I'll stick with the guy who comes up big in the biggest moments. Remember that AFCCG in Denver a few years ago, we lost for one damn extra point, all we had in that game was Brady and Gronk, that catch in the end on the 4th down was fantastic.
