Gronk?

Obviously, Gronks first game back will be at home.

I figure the Cowboys game or the Chiefs. Either game could be nationally televised. If Gronk returned for the Cowboys, he would play in a total of 9 games assuming the future materializes as hoped. If Gronk is back for the Chiefs, that would be 7 games.

Im really leaning towards KC. Additional training time, 4 game schedule 3 of which are at home. A Bye week and then 3 games down the stretch concluding with the grand finale.

Obviously he would be more of a move TE...what do you project for number of receptions per game and yards ?

Would 300 - 350 yards and 2 - 3 TDs be too much to ask?

Moving the chains on 3rd downs would be bigly.

That sounds about right

I still don't know what has happened to give you this absolute certainty he is coming back.

You posted a link recently to a PFT article that wasn't written by Florio, it said literally nothing that would make one assume Gronk is returning, and then you said to count Florio among those that think Gronk is returning. I don't get it.

I continue to hope #87 stays retired. He has been hit & hurt. When on the field, he came up huge so many times and in the final season, he didn’t grumble when his role changed. So much so that he was one of the main reasons the running game became dominant, yet was there for the incredible catches in the biggest spots.

He is retired. Good luck in your future endeavours, Gronk. We appreciate your time here. Stay retired.

Gronk is a young, super star all world TE.

I respect everyone's opinion, but for me I watch the NFL to see great players, and want the Pats to win.

Regardless of what actually happens on this topic, I definitely WANT Gronk to return to playing. The sooner the better too.

Gronk wouldn't have the same weight leverage as before for blocking but he'd be better then average for a TE even with his current weight and skill. He's older and lighter...I'm going to guess he'd be as quick as his best days were with the Pats...which would be useful for route running.
It's gonna be awesome

Did you watch the video?

Of course, my friend. What you say makes perfect sense. I’ve seen this show before: Robert Smith, Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson... none of them returned.

NE is the best team in the league atm. Gronk would help, but they wouldn’t have a better record with him.

Considering his admission of unreported concussions, the total number of concussions, and his present representation of a CBD company, the league seems likely to investigate a bit before approving his play.

Just FYI—there shouldn’t be anything that would prevent Gronk from continuing his CBD treatment, as I’d have to guess that a lot of athletes use it these days. There’s no THC in it, so it doesn’t set off any tests. I’m pretty sure that you can buy it at the local Wal-Mart.

Gronk and AB playing together will be epic.

@Triumph is a crusader. He will never admit that he is wrong.

The problem with a thread like this one is the crowd that believes that Gronk is faking his retirement will simply continue to "move the goal posts" so to speak. He is coming back in 1 week... 2 weeks... 3 weeks... One month... Two months... Three months... Next year... Two years...Some day... and on and on and on they will go never admitting that they are wrong and getting all sorts of undeserved attention every step of the way.

Yep, can't wait to do this all again next year. And probably the year after.

Yup. Supporters of this "Gronk faked his retirement" theory are gifted with inexhaustible resources.

This isn't true. It remains illegal for use in the NFL (as well as the NBA, MLB and NHL). It IS legal for use in the PGA and the pro tennis organization, whatever that's called.

I know that you don’t test positive for THC since it doesn’t exist within the product, so I’m wondering how they’d even know.

Or are you saying that it’s been specifically placed on the banned list for all of those sports? If so, that’s jus stupid. If so, I’ll delete my previous post to avoid confusion.

CBD is out of the body in less then 2 weeks...4 if your snorting it like yayo
