No he was playing hurt.By the playoffs though, wasn't he fine? It's clear it was not health that was the difference between Cannon last year and in 2015. He was a totally different player. He wrecked Von Miller this season.
some people pay to read that crap to. unbelievable lol. What a dumb article. Bedard is a jackass as usual.
Waiting for that. And they dumped Stork, and replaced him with Andrews who was 10-0 as a starter before being benched for Stork when Stork came back from injury.
Stork being the head-bob guy in the AFCCG.
Heavy price? All I know is they paid a heavy price to move up and draft Garcia. They probably wouldn't have done that if they felt he was going to be a mere back up for the next 3-4 years.
That being said is Solder does retire and Garcia starts on the upside that is about 10M in savings to spend elsewhere though I would be concerned about the OL.

It was still by far the best we've ever seen from Cannon. No he was playing hurt.
Sure but what is your point? It was still by far the best we've ever seen from Cannon.
Not offering someone another contract when their contract expires is not firing them.
Saying you think it's equivalent does not make it the same thing.
Acting like I am wrong to use proper definitions of words is your problem.
Sure but what is your point?
Can't fault his coach that he didn't play well with a severe injury.
Seriously?Well, then you need to get a dictionary, because firing is defined as the dismissal of an employee from a job.
And dismissal is defined as the act of ordering or allowing someone to leave.
So again, you are right in your own little world.
So. He came back and was able to play but he was playing with a major injury that limited his ability to move.He wasn't even one of the 21 Patriots on the injury report for the AFCCG.
LOL."Essentially" because they didn't actually.
And I'm not defending him I am objecting to your characterization that BB conceded he made a bad hire by moving on.
He likely made the best hire he could and the team was very successful in those seasons.
Dante wanted to come back. Dante is the best.
The OL sucked at the end of 2015 because they were decimated by injuries not because if coaching gaffes.
Right because BB didn't know anything 2 weeks before reporters.
No he didn't. They mutually agreed to not sign a new contract. His ****raxt ran out. That is not a firing.
Not at all. I'm sure he wanted the best guy he could get. We don't know he didn't do that yet still wanted to upgrade if possible. That dorsnt mean he regrets the choice or had a better alternative avc the results say those were 2 pretty good years.
The broncos were a JV squad?
Wow.
Actiallly the healthy players he wasxledy with to coach were a JV squad and the broncos were one of the best NFL varsity defenses.
Scar goes I'm fretting immediately
Seriously?
You are kidding right?
When you are hired for a job in a 2 year contract and that contract expires you can't be fired, dismissed from a job etc because your job is finished.
Your arrogant response is funny because you are completely wrong.
His contract expired. The parties did not agree to enter into a new one.
That is not being fired.
I look at Cannon in 2016 and then compare him to 2015 and I think its pretty self evident that Goog was incapable of coaching up his players. But then again you'd have to actually look at game tape and watch the stance and the technique the OL were using. It is so much more comfortable to just say things without doing any work.
Again. Goog did in essence nothing in 2015. We had no major injuries and all starters were trained by Scar. Once Wendell and Connolly suddenly disappeared and Goog had to coach techniques to young players everything started to fall apart.
Finally, if makes no sense to keep Daboll the entire ****ing year as a OL understudy if he really was the wrong person to do it. Especially, considering that he took over TEs who have a decent amount of overlap with OL when it comes to stances and blocking techniques.
But whatever. BB can never be wrong of course.
Except the English language says it is. You can argue until you are blue in the face, that's the exact definition of being fired. Funny how you think someone pointing out that you're flat wrong is 'arrogant'.
January 25 2016 : Brady is hit 20 times (most hits on a QB in any NFL game in 10 years)
January 26 2016 : The Patriots announced Goog will not return.
Yep, sure looks like this was a mutual decision !!!
No that's the point. You are wrong. When his contract expires his JOB ENDED. the agreement was done. He would have to be rehired.Except the English language says it is. You can argue until you are blue in the face, that's the exact definition of being fired. Funny how you think someone pointing out that you're flat wrong is 'arrogant'.
That's what it was called.January 24 2016 : Brady is hit 20 times (most hits on a QB in any NFL game in 10 years)
January 25 2016 : The Patriots announced Goog will not return.
Yep, sure looks like this was a mutual decision !!!
Yupwhether it was a "firing" or "non-renewal of a contract," can we all agree that belichick didn't want deguglielmo back for a third season? is that good enough for everyone?
