Get well soon Randy

This is EXACTLY the kind of irresponsible posting that underlies misinformation.
It's something like using the phrase "no offense" just before offending someone. At least he meant well. Some misinformation is intentional but that wasn't. Terrible news in any case.

Get well Randy.

We are weaving the misinformation debate into the Get Well Soon Randy thread?

Yes, this should be about passing on our good wishes, and that is all........Get well soon Randy

the thing is - he did earn it.

BB was being a jackass not giving him a decent contract
Randy was wrong for the outburst. No matter what contract negations are stressful but it is a business and you must keep those things internal.
Saying that he defiantly earned a longer contract and BB was wrong.
Moss was a difference maker and deserved to keep around regardless of contract security

This is terrible to hear, but glad that he believes the outcome will be good.

I remember draft day in 1998 when his name came up and whether Dallas was going to draft him. What a massive mistake passing on him and he falls to the Vikings. Come opening day, he took the NFL by storm and we haven’t seen a WR make an impact as good as him since.

I recently watched the 1998 NFCCG, and it’s still a mystery how the Falcons were able to hang around and pull that win out of their asses. Their luck ran out in the Super Bowl beat down. I think the Vikings offense would’ve made the Broncos sweat.

I was so excited when Moss was traded to the Pats and knew he was going to light it up with Tom. They should’ve won in 2007. We probably wouldn’t seen a Super Bowl rematch had Tom not gotten injured and Plaxico Burress not had the hamstring injury. Although Moss was clearly slowing down in 2010, he was still was respected and clearing out space underneath for other guys. Trading him was a mistake. In fact, Rex Ryan had said that 2010 playoff game was the easiest to game plan as he dared Tom to throw to the sidelines at Revis and Cromartie. Pats still had no business losing that game.

Randy has cholangiocarcinoma and had a “Whipple” surgical procedure to remove it.
He will need post op chemo and radiation.

Walter Payton died from this
Sad
