There will always be those who cry and whine because we didn't sign the one or two Day One (I guess I mean HOUR ONE) players that signed contracts that we think are reasonable. The rest of us will wait, and reserve the right to complain if we still have holes going into camp.
SOME THOUGHTS
1) We indeed have lots of players who were injured last year. This means that there will likely be improvement over 2013 even only a few come back strong.
2) We indeed have 10 free agents wo need to be replaced (only Talib and Edelman are considered major issues). This is a very manageable number.
3) We have about $15M of cap room and could easily free up another $10M.
4) We do need additions at TE, DE and SS. It is likely that we will draft a TE or two.
For those for whom the Belichick is just not good enough, the sky is falling. For the rest of us, this offseason is business is usual, with fewer issues/holes than most (certainly less than last offseason).
They're really keeping their powder dry, I don't blame the more jumpy for going crazy at this point.
How many signings have really taken players we coveted at the price. I'll need confirmation on ward's contract, but that's the only one i see so far. Lots of dollars for players that are good but not great, overpriced, or not fits to our system or needs so far, I'd say.
You put Belichick up on this pedestal as if he is flawless and he is not. The reality is that $7.5 million is sitting in a holding cell at Bristol County Correctional Facility. Everyone will give the how the Patriots were supposed to know; and I think well here is a guy who was allegedly pulling drive by shootings in Boston, so obviously he was not keeping it low key. Therefore, I do not give them the token pass that you and the rest give for that misjudgment.

Third look at the wasted draft picks that are no longer on this roster or if they are on the roster they are fringe players –

I am not crying over spilt milk here MG, you just think that because Tom Brady goes out there and wills this team to victory week in and week out that Belichick does this grand job constructing the roster, but that could not be any further from the truth, the past five years have been extremely poor.

Who would you rather have making the decisions?
You have to give it to the Broncos. they are really loading that team with talent.
They draft a WR in the 1st and they could have just as good an offense as last year while plugging some holes in their D.
I wish you would run the team. We would be close to the SB every year...

What is his success rate on personnel decision over the past 3-4 seasons? UFAs, trades, draft picks. Put all the names together with the exception of UDFAs then tell me what percent are good and what percent are bad.
I am not saying Belichick needs to be replaced, I am saying that his current approach needs to change, it may have worked for him in the early 2000s but it is not working anymore.

Lions are reportedly in the mix for free agent WR Eric Decker
Someone who can look into the future and predict that a player is going to murder someone, based on a drive by shooting that nobody knew he committed. Obviously.
