Goodell let the Patriots be dragged through the mud during spygate, yet Kraft remained buddies. Goodell once again let it happen, and Patriots screwed yet again.

Even if appeal overturned, kangaroo court made their decision. Draft picks gone. Legacy destroyed... Yet Kraft remains civil with Goodell.

Issue is that America has moved on. Patriots deflated their footballs by 2PSI and that is that.

Have contended all along that the NFL lost control of this message and situation and could not recover.. they unleashed a shytstorm and could not stem the tide.. from the first release in the middle of the night to Kravitz to Mort on Monday nite late and Peter King Wed. AM early.. they selectively released information and from all appearances no one is held accountable.

Whoever ever did that, Kensil??, sabotaged any semblance of order that the NFL strives for.. instead a world of crap ensued and Rogah is backed into a corner... this is not what the Commish wanted.

The reluctance to pursue this with Mort, speaks volumes about the lazy mediots..

He's been banging the drum all along that the whole media storm started with Mortenson's INCORRECT report. Mortenson and espn still have not said anything about it. What a joke.

Florio gets it right : (1) the NFL cares more about the report of the length of a meeting than the truth (2) the initial Mort report is the catalyst to this whole BS (3) why would the NFL be so quick to jump on one (then get slammed by Schefter) while never addressing the actually damning leak/false info ?

Not likely, based upon their recent history of their slant on this one, except for Dale and Holley. I could see them doing it, for sure. At one time Zolak might have, but now Bertrand likely wouldn't allow him to.

I don't know why everyone has their panties in a bunch, I am sure the NFL will officially refute Mortensen's report that 11 of the 12 balls were deflated by at least 2 PSI any day now. It just takes a while for them to approve the press release.

The tide is turning but half the fleet is at the bottom of the Pacific scuttled and beyond repair because Admiral Kraft was busy capitulating a deal that makes the treaty of Versailles look fair.
