Nah, I am all for continuity.

AVP has been good for Maye. I'd like to see AVP/Maye operate with a decent OL and at least one game breaker at WR....

We should hire him and fire AVP. Why wouldn’t we?

Why would they? He just got fired for leading one of the worst offenses in CFB and had one season in the NFL as a O coordinator without Reid looking for his shoulder....success in KC is Patrick and Andy..... Bienemy had almost nothing to do with it.

I get that Bienemy was a flavor du jour for a while, but he's had a lot of interviews and no HC jobs. There's gotta be a reason. I advise caution. Besides, AVP is not the reason this team sucks.

He's part of the reason. He's gets super conservative in the red zone and at the ends of halfs and games.

Can he help the defense stop the run?

For running back ??

Kind of like why anyone with the name Belichick is the reason the defense was better last year...Mayo and Convington had almost nothing to do with it.

I don't love AVP's lack of creativity in play design and playcalling. I don't think he's meant to be an OC long term. However, he does appear to be doing a solid job coaching Maye. Even amidst a bad situation, Maye seems to be sticking to improvements in his mechanics and he doesn't appear jittery and anxious to run even though it's been very successful for him. All the evidence is there that he's being coached well and AVP is presumably a big part of that.

In an ideal world we'd hire a new OC and keep AVP as QB coach, IMO. But that may not be practical. EB has been a huge failure in multiple places since leaving KC. Maybe bring him on board as another voice in the room, but he doesn't feel like someone worth disturbing Maye's continuity over.

A known pain in the ass whose career peak was when he wasn't the play caller on a team with one of the greatest offensive minds as head coach and an all-time great quarterback. Pass.

If the Pats are going to fire and replace any coach, it will happen in the offseason. Stupid to do it now. You cannot teach a new offensive system on the fly in the back third of the season.

Eric has the same disease as Josh McDaniels, Adam Gase, Mike McCoy, Brian Billick and many others who forgot how to run an offense once leaving their former team with elite players.

I can't speak for OP, but I imagine that's probably what he means and most likely what anyone means when they suggest new coaches at this point.

Bienemy is really not good and will set Maye back. He is not it.He has no clue, was jag at Chiefs, failed in DC, now fired for how bad the offense was. Without Patrick, he has no clothes

Compared to AVP?
