I like that player from Hawaii at flat back...what's the name...?...uh...oh yeah, I remember...

Kumon Iwanalaya...can't miss prospect....:eyebrows:

Good Talib backup. Probably too expensive though right?
I'm not sure I want my #1 CB running a 40 yard dash time in the 4.6 range. From my observation and despite Browner being a good DB, the Seahawks Secondary become far more explosive with him serving his suspension.

Color me unimpressed replacing Talib with Browner if it comes to that.

I meant backup to Talib. But yeah, it seemed that Maxwell was an upgrade over Browner in Seattle.

A simple misunderstanding patsinthesnow. I read it as a fall back option to Talib. Still, I don't see him as a like for like given the appreciable difference in speed between the two.

I prefer to view Browner as a possible SS for us.

I wanted us to get Derek Cox last year cut after one poor season I think he is worth a look for the pats. I am sure he will cost less than he did last season now though.

We could do worse in terms of bottom of the depth chart signings, but if you're expecting him to see much action--I dunno....

Only 2 full seasons in 5 attempts, and a couple of pretty lousy years in the past three. I don't think he'd be much of an option to take reps from Dennard, Ryan, or Arrington.

Now, if you want to have him as a CB5 or something, that may be worth a look if the deal is low enough. I'd have to imagine that someone else will take a chance on a better paying pact though.

Would Uche Nwaneri be an upgrade over Connolly?

Yes, provided that his knees are well enough (he underwent 2 procedures last off-season,
but didn't miss any games this past season).

Paul Perillo @pfwpaul
Add another potential TE to #Patriots list? MT @MikeGarafolo: Vikings will cut TE John Carlson, per source.

Sadly, Carlson has concussion issues (at least 3 known ones, including the latest suffered
in Baltimore that IRed him at the end of the seson).

Davone Bess was cut by the browns I think the pats should look at him if one of DA or Edelman is not back

Not a bad idea if he's dirt cheap, he use to be one of the best slot WRs in the league.

He left the team for personal reasons I believe, he's currently seeking help for his issues. He might not even play this year and he sounds like there is more baggage than his production is worth.

Pittsburgh just agreed to an extension with Troy Polamalu through 2016 to lower his cap hit.

The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Wednesday that they've extended tender offers to wide receiver Andrew Hawkins, linebacker Vincent Rey and wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher.

All three players are set to become restricted free agents this Saturday. As a result of the tender offers, the Bengals can match any offer a team gives them when they hit the restricted market.

Word is that the Eagles are ready to cut or trade DeSean Jackson. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Pats' uniform, but he is a big "show me the money" guy. So I ain't holding my breath.
