Trying to sneak two loaded, unregistered guns through baggage check? I know that many of the state-employed workers at Logan are incompetent, but they are not THAT incompetant, Jackie.

I’m having a hard time comprehending this level of recklessness and stupidity.

KC, Miami or Baltimore will pick him up once his suspension is over.

All I will say is you never know with Bill. They kept Alfonzo Dennard around even after he went to jail, and cut Brandon Spikes after he crashed his Bentley.
This right here likely will get him on the commissioners list as now he has to go to court and face state/federal weapons charges.. I really like Jack, and what he brung at CB.. just a foolish mistake.

This is really a shame man. He doesn't seem like a bad guy, just makes painfully stupid decisions. If he's still on the team this year, this is certainly his final strike.

Probably looking at four games.

It's TSA has nothing to do with Logan.. strictly a federal government issue, FAA and homeland security.

Yeah I can see that.. in 07 willie andrews got caught in drug deal.. I believe he got cut right away if I remember correctly.

Yeah.. it is a shame.. just immaturity, being young, I hope at least he was licensed to carry.. if not then things will get worse.

No not every state requires you to have a license to have a firearm. In fact, more than half the states do not required you to have a license to posses a firearm. It's called Constitutional Carry. However, there are many states that you can get a license to "Carry Concealed".

The problem is that every state is different. But it's incumbent upon the OWNER of the Firearm to know what the Laws are in any state they are traveling to. Concealed Carry holders have a much easier time traveling to other states. Particularly ones that offer reciprocity for their Permit. And by easier, I mean when travelling by vehicle. Travelling by aircraft, you're best to use a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) to ship it to wherever you're going.
Thanks for the info DB Both interesting and sad. So you are saying in almost half the states in the union you need to both pass a written and actual test to drive a car (and pay for the privilege to boot), yet in half the country I can just walk into Walmart and walk out with a Glock or semi-automatic rifle with clips that hold dozens of rounds by just showing him a drivers license then legally take that weapon anywhere? OUCH!

We are the ONLY and I repeat ONLY industrialized first world country that has at LEAST one mass shooting a day And #2 is such a long way away from what we manage to "accomplish". But instead of doing something about it we have doubled down and make it easier and easier to kill one another with every more dangerous weapons.

I mean have people actually READ the 2nd Amendment. It start with the words "A well regulated Militia, being NECESSARY to the security of a free State" Militias were an 18th century necessity where the government needed private citizens to have guns and bring them when they were called. What was a necessity THEN is well covered by well armed entities like National Guard, national, state, local law enforcement .

The meaning of this Amendment has been perverted in the late 20th Century into a cry for Liberty and the right for the gun industry to make billions without any blood on their hands. When the Constitution was written there was a VALID reason for this amendment to exist. That reason no longer exists so why do we hold on to it so hard. Why? because we have been sold a very effective PR campaign that has linked guns to liberty. to the point where even the most reasonable measures are fought tooth and nail. The result of it guns are the #1 cause of childhood death. (19% of the deaths of children (1-18) as of 2020() Take a bow NRA

BTW- I don;t even want to take guns away from people. I just want to have owners to be licensed. To have proven they have a passing knowledge of how to safely handle the weapon they own. That only sane ADULTS can own them. And that Assault weapons, automatic pistols with large clips are outlawed because their only use is to kill people in large numbers...., and make weak people with little ****s feel big....ooops did I just go too far. I better go back and try and get a couple of hours more sleep. I have to be sharp...heading to the "Woods" and go to work. But is hard to rest easy when I know there are wacko's out there running FREELY around with weapons of mass destruction

Years ago didn’t he rob a Panda Express?

Yeah I can see that.. in 07 willie andrews got caught in drug deal.. I believe he got cut right away if I remember correctly.
Yeah he wasn’t exactly a key player though. Probably depends how good you are.

You should. Bad guys are always stopped with good guys with guns.
Sorry, A. That is an easy response to a much more complex and difficult problem. Solving the gun problem with MORE guns is the idiotic response to critical issue. Do you actually think the gun industry is only selling to "good guys"? They are equal opportunity money grubbers.

What a friggen idiot, things finally going well, and the moron does this.

Grade A idiot.

There is no way he remains with the team

can't teach stupid

He must know you can’t pack a gun in a carry-on and go through security, let alone TWO guns, LOADED. So for that part of his offense, it seems obvious he forgot the guns were in his carry-on.

But how in God’s name can anyone make that mistake? Maybe he grabbed the wrong bag back in his apartment, intending to leave the guns at home? If he intended to bring them, how do you forget to unload them and put them in your checked bag?

Hard to understand how you can get that careless with loaded high capacity guns.

Stupid mistake. Stupid kid. Nice to see all the left wing Mass posters come out talking about how bad guns are. We haven’t had a good liberal crazy rant in a few months on the board. Luckily we have Ken to Massplain it to us.

In like 3 states those guns are illegal. They are legal in Mass if you are traveling through mass with them locked in a case separate from the ammo. That is federal law. He would be legal in Maine NH and Vermont up to not declaring that he had them in his luggage.

Hell of a lot more Mass shootings in the states where they are illegal.

It is perfectly legal to have an unloaded gun in your checked luggage. It is completely stupid to have loaded weapons in your carry on luggage.

Not sure what he was thinking.

If the Pats determine he can’t stay on the team, I think their best strategy could be to wait this out, see what happens in court and with league discipline, rather than just release him tomorrow. Let it play out, then trade him to a NFC team in a state where guns are glorified- the Cowboys or Bucs or Cards.

He’s a starting level CB, don’t give away that asset for no return.

Never checked out his college "exploits" until today.
Six year college career
Dismissed after 2 seasons at USC due to "academic struggles" ....aka.....didn't feel like studying
Arrested and pled guilty to "commercial burglary" prior to attending and playing (1 yr) for Moorpark College, home of 2nd chances.
45 days of house arrest....Had to be much worse than a 'dine 'n dash' caper
Then 3 years at arguably the least academically demanding major university in the US (LSU might argue this one) as well as the most forgiving, at least in Jack Jones' case
ASU: "Don't feel like studying, we got that covered. Convicted criminal? We got worse. Welcome!"

Note: Growing up in Long Beach, CA, JJ got tight with Snoop Dogg thru football. Probably learned how to **** the glock rolling thru the 562 during his formative years.
FYI: Willie McGinest is a Long Beach native as well. Also tight with Mr. Double G
