Tough call this weekend. How will he reintegrate? The Pats offense has changed a lot since Hogan went down. Even if he's healthy, it's tough to say his fantasy value (which was very TD dependent early on) will remain high, even with Gronk out.

As tempting as it is, I consider him a boom or bust. I won't start him over Thielen or Cooks this week. I might consider him over Josh Gordon, but JG's matchup is so juicy it's nearly impossible to sit him down this week.

If Hogan comes out and catches 6 for 75 and a TD, I will definitely put him back in there vs. the Steelers.

Enough fantasy. From a real world perspective this is awesome. I know we say this nearly every year but I have no idea how any team can possibly account for all the weapons in this offense.

I have him in both leagues I'm in and I have a bye in both of them as well. Luckily, I have a bye to test the waters. If I didn't, though, I'd sit him this week as well. Particularly since the game plan against Miami at least on the surface looks like another one to get the ground game going in. I'm definitely starting him against Pittsburgh the following week, though. The match-up is just too good. I also had the advantage of seeing how Devonta Freeman looked with a snap increase coming off of a concussion. Good to get him back too. In the same league, if I make the championship, I'll get Zeke Elliott back for that (the money) game.

Shut up, you ****. Some of us are trying to go .500. You’re over here talking about money games.

Dion Lewis out of practice today with an illness. Glad the game is on Monday.

Don't like that Dion is sick. Definitely don't like it.

Could anybody tell if Brady was playing with a brace on his archilles?

We really need to be careful that it does not pop.

This thing going around is brutal -- took me 10 days to get over it. Hopefully DL got it mild and will shake it off in 2 days. Otherwise this is bad news for everyone not named Gillislee.

I'm on the Gulf Coast easily 100+ miles north of Miami (we experience colder days more than Miami for sure). I can tell you that weather even here, while no longer absurdly humid, through Christmas is going to be warm if not hot to a northerner. In my town I think all of December 2016 was nice except a cold day of 69, but many days near, at, or above 80. So anything in November, except for the very very odd day, will be just about hot down south in Miami. I don't know if weather is a factor for Brady but an after Halloween sample means only drier and not as hot -- but it still will be hot or very much close to hot to a northern based player experiencing cold temps almost every day.

Good news for Brady/Patriot players/Patriot fans -- even Miami is getting hit with this giant cold wave. I know it's going to be outright cold here (expect mid 40s here by game's end). But to a northerner down in Miami I'm assuming at 9:00pm on a December Monday night a 57 degree game start temp is going to feel like good playing weather, no?.

Thank the football weather gods the game was not tonight (or this weather would have happened Monday night). The Phins would have hit the jackpot! VERY warm, VERY humid tonight (hanging Christmas lights outside for 20 minutes and I'm friggin soaked from perspiration and dying of heat stroke). Currently 77 degrees with 80% humidity. I think Miami is currently 79 degrees 83% humidity. The Patriots would have been gassed by halftime. The football weather gods truly have favored the Patriots by clearing this out this weekend and making Monday night very very cool(for Miami), dry weather.

((Saturday night EDIT: it's sad once you've moved away from, in my case Kittery ME, and eventually move to Florida and over some years acclimate. It's 45 degrees here tonight and I'm friggin dying from the cold. An embarrassing statement for anyone who comes from Maine . But for the Patriots the weather is right on track to be good for Monday night football ))

Yep. I had it too. 103 temp and coughing for 3 weeks. Got a sinus infection too

Damn if that list gets any longer next week? The injury/practice report can be simplified by just listing the 8 guys who are healthy.
((Seattle, Ravens, Patriots win this weekend + Patriots win next weekend = chronic injuries can now be rested via limited participation at practice and an eased back number of snaps in the last 2 games.))
