I'm a huge Jordy Nelson fan.

Terrell Thomas goes to the Bills.

When did drafting ANOTHER TE so high become a need?

Bennett was the best value? BS. Not over Goff or a number of other players.

Another lousy pick by the Pats.

Nfl has announced it's comp picks:
Washington 3 96
Cincinnati 3 97
Atlanta 3 98
Baltimore 3 99
Philly 4 131
Buffalo 4 132
Baltimore 4 133
Tennessee 4 134
Green Bay 4 135
here are the third and fourth rounders.

Okay if I am not here for the Panthers 11th pick in round three I take Andre Woodson QB, Kentucky

8. (71) Buffalo (from Baltimore)
- Terrell Thomas, CB, USC
9. (72) Jacksonville (from Buffalo)
- Darrell Robertson DE G Tech
10. (73) Minnesota (from Denver)
- John David Booty, QB, USC

Here are the last three picks.

I took Thomas for the Bills. I know he's not the fastest but Youboty and McGee are both fast so it's not like their entire secondary is slow. Thomas is a good physical corner who was very well coached in college by Pete Carroll and fits well at this spot in the draft and fits a need. I was going to take Martellus Bennett but he Pats took him two picks prior.

I liked your pick. I think Thomas has a good skill set for a Jauron D. I missed this when reposting the list- Carolina takes Andre Woodson QB, Kentucky, so San Francisco (tatepatsfan) is now on the clock... I couldn't send him a PM. Board is rejecting my request for whatever reason.

OK my choices for SF(OT & CB taken so far):

DE, Lawrence Jackson
WRs Avery or Bennet

They need a WR badly. Devin Thomas was served up to them (and me) in the 2nd.

So far, they have Baker (T) and Lee (CB).

Most of the WRs are gone, but Eddie Royal is still around. Honestly, I'm looking at Royal in a couple of picks, because I think he's great value, but I nominate him. He killed the post-season all-star games and provides double duty.

He hasn't garnered much appreciation on this board, but he's a concensus viable 3rd. Personally, I like him more than many already picked. If he were bigger, he'd be already taken. Fortunately for SF, they lucked into a good pick that people aren't keen on.

EDIT: A lot of questions about him (besides his size) can be answered by looking at his QB. i.e.: route running

I would go with Bennett here, but for a Martz offense I think that a fast smurf like Royal would be the better fit, so Eddie Royal is my choice.

DE option for me. They have no-one up front.

I made Eddie Royal the selection since we had 2 votes for him.

Besides LB, they don't have much beyond Gore, Staley, their TE, and Clements.

With Alex Smith tying up $ and hopes, with much less at WR than Ray McDonald (1st round talent with injury concerns) et al at DE, they need the offense. Their D > their O.

Their LB is their strength. DB isn't horrible. Beyond Gore, no unit can say that.

Their offense has the TE, Gore, Staley and not much else.

back to back Hokies :rocker:

Brit you're up!

I actually like my draft so far. I have added some talent to that Lions D that was awful last year.
