Do you enjoy the super bowl when the Patriots are in it?

I ask this question because I have come to the conclusion that I really don't enjoy NE super bowls. I enjoy the post game talk/trophy presentations but the actual game is not very enjoyable for me. To much stress. Maybe if they get out to a big lead I can finally enjoy one.

I love it when the game is over. But I also don’t like Super Bowls where the Broncos, Ravens, Colts, and Steelers are playing in until it’s over and they’ve lost. Unfortunately no one else from the AFC can make the super bowl.

I mean every game they play I'm wear myself down with unnecessary stress, but how could you not enjoy your team being in the Super Bowl?

Any answer other than yes defeats the purpose of being a fan with a rooting interest.

I get really tired of the 2 week buildup and I find the game incredibly stressful, but also incredibly exhilarating (provided we win.). A loss, likewise, is as painful as just about anything.

Is this a serious question?

Of course I'm glad they are in it and love the exhilaration of a win, but the game itself is just torture for me

Better to lose in the AFC championship and flog myself the entire game. 2 weeks for the flesh wounds to heal using leeches and seaweed ... then being rewarded with 2 other teams playing for glory while I gorge my gut with carbs. So enjoyable knowing my team will not lose in the Super Bowl.

Of course I enjoy them being in it. But watching the actual game. No. Way too stressful. It's torture, actually. I'm seriously thinking of skipping it and not watching until I know that they won. I can't even do snacks anymore. My stomach is in knots the entire time.

As long as they win I prefer a close game with clutch play.
