Deandre Hopkins Visiting Patriots Next Week

If true, then Hopkins isn't a professional. You don't communicate with another team while you're on your visit with a team.

That being said. It's Breer. He hasn't had an inside scoop about the Pats in years. He's almost transformed into Felger lite.

If the patriots feel he wants to sign but is playing waiting (money) games, they should bring in Dalvin cook for a visit, and stir up some rumors of trying to trade for chase young. Not in a serious way, but just to put the thought in Hopkins and his agents head, of the possibility of our remaining salary cap drying up, resulting in the patriots no longer being an option.

CJ Golson and Incarcerated Bob walk into a bar…
Who was the guy (I think part of his name was Jensen) who was a tollbooth collector down in NY. I'm not sure if he used to post here, or just Cold Hard Football Facts back in the day.

Sadly, all the Ground Rounds in NE, except for the one in Bangor Maine, are closed now... There used to be one in Langhorne PA near Philadelphia, but that's also closed.

In lieu of the Ground Round, I suggest that Bill bring DHop instead to the China Sky restaurant at Adams Corner in Dorchester (across from the Eire Pub) or the Cathay Pacific in North Quincy... If they're thinking pizza, then it's Papa Gino's... Bickford's used to have breakfast served all day long; a nicer version of Denny's...
Or the windy city pizza on gallivan is pretty good! Hella good Buffalo wings.. I doubt they'll be able to even get in the parking lot at Cathy it's always jammed up! LOL

My week 6 dream starting WR lineup is, Hopkins, Boutee, Thornton, Douglas. With A trade of either Parker or Bourne. The survivor of the two becomes WR #3/4.

If all of those players (I know, very unlikely) we’re living up to their full potential, that’s a top 5-10 wr squad easily. Next year we use our first for a OT. That’s the dream.

I honestly don't get the Boutee or Douglas love. I get the potential, but they are going to be lucky to make the team as of June 16th. This organization does not have an exemplary record when it comes to developing wideouts. You're far more likely to see Smith-Shuster, Parker, Bourne and Thornton. Hopkins is a nice thought, but he's not here yet. I hope they pan out and perform far above their draft class, but they've got an uphill battle right now. We have no idea if they could even fog a mirror in the NFL.

Don't agree that they should cut JSS.

I'm guessing it was his agent doing communications. I doubt Hopkins was saying "hang on Bill, I'm getting a call from Ran Carthon I have to take."

I actually forgot to put him in there as #2/3 lol. JSS and Boutee are interchangeable. I just want Boutee to succeed, and to live up and become our 2/ 3 eventually. It would do great things for the roster and cap for the next 4 years. Personally I could care less about Bourne. If Boutee remotely lives up, trade Bourne too. Use some of the money to sign one of the bigger bodied FA RB’s to give RS some rest.

Guessing they found a wanna get away deal that was too good to pass up.

The power move for us would’ve been to send this puppy down to Nashville to pick him up from his visit.
Maybe but I'm sure Hopkins would've preferred a Kraft private jet.

If Boutte is our 2nd or 3rd wide receiver, then we are obviously tanking the season. On the bright side, we'll probably be drafting Caleb Williams.

From 2020 to 2022, he was my favorite college WR by a long shot. Yes I know his background, but his talent is WR#1 level. How could a fan of this team not be rooting for him, espically with where we got him and his cost implications moving forward. I didn’t say im betting on this. Hints the “dream” part. It’s just what im hoping for. Nothing more, nothing less

Yeah, you take the g650 all day everyday. Nothing like flying at 710mph (much faster) at 51k feet (much higher) watching all the peasants below you getting tied up in general aviation air traffic.

Let's try to game this out from Hopkin's perspective (or rather that of his agent):

Let's assume he has the outlines of two reasonable offers from the Titans and the Pats. There is an argument he should wait for training camp to see if some WR1 gets injured and a team gets desperate. Doubt if either the Pats or the Titans are going to be out spending money before then, so they will both still be there as a backup plan. Maybe the Pats would reduce their offer if they don't have him at camp though.

The Pats could give him a nice offer but time-limited as a way to avoid this scenario.

Jimmy Myers just confirmed on WILD
CJ Golson and Jimmy “I haven’t been relevant for more than 2 decades” Myers scooping all of the Boston, ESPN and NFL Network reporters? LOL.

Just asked my daughter about the place... She's home until the end of next week when she returns to BC.... She taught science & math at Saint John's middle school there as part of her studies, and she agrees with you... She also says they're reasonably priced, which helps when you're a student teacher on a budget...
I'm a pizza lover so I'll put this place on my list to go to. Unfortunately I live on the OTHER side of the city, close to RI, so it will have to be a special trip.

BTW- My parents mede REGULAR trips to Regina's in the North End from Dorchester when I was a kid and a the plate sized pie was fifty cents and the big one was a buck and a half. They truly ARE great. BUT....only at the one in the North End. Those ovens are the same ones they had in the 20's, that's the 1920's when the place first opened. When they franchised out they couldn't duplicate the ovens of course and while it is good, its not the same as on Thatcher st.

In my twenties I had a place in the NE that was within walking distance. Now that was a GOOD couple of years. I even met my wife during that time.
