Again, if you bothered to read the thread, you would know there is a difference between Public Health Emergency and a National Emergency. The National Health Emergency can be invoked by the HHS Secretary, whereas the National Emergency is invoked by the President. A National Emergency gives the President even more powers to address the situation.

What president? We don't have one.

Agreed but trying to be generous...

Which is far more than evidence suggests you could reasonably expect if the roles were reversed

A topic that doesn't get much discussion around here due to the gender skew of the membership:

Not only is TP in short supply, but there has been a run on feminine pads. Do your wives and daughters a solid and find some if you can.

Chris

If everyone is stuck inside, gotta think many women won't need them for 9 months.

Gonna be a lot of Corona babies.

Basically what it seems like to me is that IF IT SPREADS at the speed they say it will that there wont be enough ventilator machines for the amount of people who are gonna need it to help with their breathing while their immune system does its thing.

I personally didnt buy into the hype but it's been triggering my anxiety
Plus add that if it will spread quickly involving massive numbers the hospitals will "simply" collapse...because no one is ready in any Country if the numbers accelerate...no places enough for intensive care beds

Which one??

On guns (not that I believe people are going to break in and steal toilet paper) I would use a short barreled shot gun such as an Ithaca deer slayer loaded with buckshot, you don't have to be precise in your aim in close quarters.
Winner!

I would use bird shot or target load to minimize the chance of shooting thru your walls and killing junior in the next room.

Its too early to panic. Other posters will point to "trends" but we are taking a lot of measures to combat it.
You live in Washington and go to same church as Cornyn. I'm convinced you are Don Jr.

I have a sore throat (which isn’t really symptom) and my chest feels funny. Not coughing. No fever somewhat of a headache

I'm running a new ad campaign on Facebook (started last week, B2B), targeting the restaurant industry.

Results are horrible.
True...restaurants...but many more...

Tourism
Airlines
Taxi
Hotels
Any shop that is not a supermarket or pharma..

How do you hook it up and install it? Do you hire someone like an electrician since you’re changing the wiring, or did you do it yourself? Just curious. I’m not handy around the house in the slightest, but I’m thinking of finally getting this for the front porch.

It’s still in the trunk of my car.
I watched a YouTube video that made it seem like it was simple… But I’m not a big fan of finding the correct breaker and re-doing wires.

Abso-frigging-lutely. Most everyone checks on potential; hires. What was the guy thinking when he did the interview...?. Reminds me of the guy who bought the drug company making the AIDs drug and jacked up the price 500%... Karma will bite this guy too....
Well, if the AG gets a conviction, he'll definitely get flagged:

Tennessee AG cracks down on men who hoarded thousands of sanitizer bottles amid shopper scare

I actually just texted with a background check specialist and it turns out that short of a crime conviction, this guy probably would be cleared in a background check by most companies. Ugh.

Regards,
Chris

Dude same here, only have had a dry throat/slight cough.

I’m wondering if that’s just many of us convincing ourselves we have these symptoms? Or if the mild symptoms are more common across the country than we realize. Or it could just be that it is allergy season. Lol.

Fever and dry cough are the major symptoms. Doesn't mean it's nothing but it's also the season for allergies, sinus infections, etc.

And that’s what’s so conflicting with figuring out symptoms right now. We’re literally in the peak of cold season. What’s the line between staying in and feeling fine enough to go to work?

Don't forget panic, it's definitely panic season

im not really worried about. Problem is I wanna do **** but I feel like I can’t because no one will want to be around me. The way my chest feels is a little worrisome but unless I get a fever, I’m gonna assume it’s something else

This guy should be impeached and forced out for prioritizing himself over his constituents in such an boastfully ignorant way.
