    I love it how SD fans all assume NE and Indy will play each other before the AFC Championship game. NE and Indy are going to be the #1 and #2 seeds. SD needs to beat both to get to the superbowl.

    In other words, SD will not be playing in February.

    You think NE will have a better record than SD? WTF are you smoking??? We just had our only regular season loss. We'll go 15-1 and have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. But even if we do get in as a wild card and have to play both NE and Indy, we'll beat them both. We don't rejoice in beating lesser teams like the Colts do. If they had played us last season instead of the Patriots, we'd have beat them and gone on to win the superbowl. The Patriots can't cut it against the Colts. Peyton Manning owns your team and we own Peyton Manning.

    I understand that the name of the game is execution. The pats were very tight in that regard and you deserve your props. Some would argue, well? SD didn't play well. That's true. But it's not about that.

    It's always about who's ready and can execute. Which implies dictating. Nothing else matters. It doesn't matter if you have a camera and you're cheating and you know precisely what play is coming. Seriously. I completely understand that ultimately it's about execution. Don't get me wrong. I'm not for a second suggesting the pats were cheating tonight. Pretty sure they were not. If they were? Wow? Good on em'. [​IMG]

    Right now it's clear to me that any AFC team who has aspirations of traveling to Glendale next year is gonna have to work thru NE.

    Sigh. Fair enough.

    Tough to tell too much after week 2. But at least on this night, it looks an awful lot as though, since the last game, the Patriots got better and the Chargers got, well, Norv.

    The only team who is ARROGANT is the friggin Chargers and their whiny players.

    The Pats dominated the Chargers in every facet of the game. Yet you sit there and make excuses that "Norv hasn't gotten our offense into rhythm." What a bunch of garbage.

    If SD continues to play like they did tonight, they'll be lucky to win 10 games, never mind make the play-offs.

    COACHING ISSUES? All I've heard all off-season is that there won't be any coaching issues because the Chargers haven't changed their offensive and defensive schemes.

    Funny, I remember telling Charger fans that it takes time for coaches and players to mesh, and I was ridiculed by them.. Now you're using it as your excuse? FU

    Hmm.. Lets see. The Chargers won the 2 previous meetings prior to the Pats winning in last year's play-offs..

    The Colts have won the previous 3 meetings against the Pats. That is after the Pats had dominated the Colts by winning 6 or 7 in a row over Manning. Its really stupid of you to say that the Colts own the Pats when their success is only very recent. And with the way the Pats are playing, there is a good chance that the Pats will beat the Colts this year.

    Better make that February because the only time any of the Chargers will ever see the Patriots again this year will be at the Pro Bowl. Enjoy the trip to Hawaii, we'll be in Phoenix.

    Two notes of agreement: Loudmouth Tomlinson (there's only one LT in NFL history) said before the game that his team would beat the Patriots 9 times out of 10. That is arrogances.

    Also, the offense is basically Norv's offense, which he installed as their OC in 2001. He's also had the entire offseason to get it into rhythm. Has the blocking scheme changed dramatically? Don't think so. So why does Loudmouth Tomlinson have the lowest avg. rush of any RB with over 20 carries this season? Hmm? HMMM?

    It's been a long while since I've felt this proud about the boys in red, white & blue, and how well they played. Thomas was a FORCE, Brady was in complete control, and Moss looked like he was just happy to be here (again!).

    What a great win! I feel like the whole CameraGate nonsense has United the whole team against the rest of the league. Can't wait to watch them again next week!

    Oh, and as for LT & company...cry me a Rivers, you pansies!!!!
