I’m still talking Campbell at 4 if Carter and Hunter are both gone. But ideally Stanley is had if he gets to free agency.

Don't ignore Armand Membou who is probably OT 1 now. He's a RT but probably could switch to LT

Bigger than expected but still on the short side for me. Another gamble.

The reality is that there isn’t a surefire tackle on this class, we should live with that rather than trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Poetry in motion, my friend. Vince was one heck of an athlete for his enormous size. Mr. Wilfork is a Hall of Famer (Canton) my book. Offenses had to plan for Vince on every play. A major force.

Until he injured his Achilles I never saw Wilfork have a bad game. He dominated his entire career despite being double teamed for most of it. He’s the definition of a Hall of Fame player.

I’m out on Campbell barring a nice trade down where they acquired another 2nd rounder.

Top 10 you ignore position (other than QB obviously) and just take the guy you most believe will be an impact player even if it isn’t a top need.

So, for me that means if TE, Corner, DL is best player sitting there you take him.

What you DON’T do is say “we need a LT and WR so we gotta take one here” if none have first round grades for you.

Tet is sinking like a stone because of low end speed AND that a huge chunk of his stats were put up against two garbage teams.

Campbell is a guard.

This isn’t a team that needs a guard high.

Defense low key sucked last year, and Hunter Henry is getting old.

TE could be a sneaky smart play if it falls that way.

Surprised by Simmons short arms as well.

I think his teammate at Ohio state, Donovan Jackson, is building momentum toward being an nfl left tackle. He was phenomenal in the last 6 games and he measured better than most of the tackles today. I’d take him at the end of round 1 with a trade

Banks measured much better than expected. He is the clear OT1 now imo. #4 would still be a reach for him though. If Sanders falls, I could see them taking him with a trade down to 6-9.

Yes Warren,

Elite tight ends a young QBs best friend:

40 time is completely irrelevant for OT's.
Don't disagree. Just saying getting that size moving is pretty neat to see. His numbers scare me at the NFL level as a tackle though. I bet he drops pretty far in the draft now. Like mid teens or so.

Campbell sounds like...."I'm gonna plow you so bad your mother is going to feel it in her bones, I'm going to crush you to the point that #SteelMan isn't going to be able to help you anymore for $3 per...I will disintegrate you!"
Why did I read this as I'm gonna plow your mother. I have issues

I was out on Tet early, but was starting to say we'll maybe, need someone to fill a position that isn't going to get filled this season....maybe he will play better in the NFL than I think.....but no athletic testing by him is a big red flag for me.

Let’s face it. No one on this board has a clue how Marone is evaluating Campbell and Banks.
OL potential in NFL is really hard to evaluate based on arm length or watching highlight reels.
No one will know until night of draft.
Only Marone and Vrabel and Wolf know

I agree completely that it is a red flag. I also understand not wanting to risk injury now and again during pro day.

I believe in the tape more than arm length. I would still take Campbell over Banks or Conerly

Especially when you consider that he started every game as an 18 year old true freshman against the best pass rushers in the SEC and only allowed 2 sacks. He’s the real deal, and we will love him if we get him.
