A draft can be weak at a position. There's some drafts where 6 QB's go top 12. There's one where only one goes in the top 20.
Being the best in a draft isn't as important as how you are as a prospect.
Idk why we would pass up one of the two top d-lineman in the draft at 4 to take a much bigger risk at offensive line just because we really want one to be worth it. That's how you end up getting bust and regretting it.
Overall this is a truism, such as this year’s QB class sucks in comparison to last year’s, or most years for that matter. However as far as Campbell goes he has been starting against the best pass rushers in the country since he started as a true freshman at 18 years old, and has essentially shut them down while dominating as a run blocker against the best defenses in college football. As with Mason Graham I think the ability to start every game as an 18 year old, and true freshman, and hold their own against the best players in college football, demonstrates that they will make the transition to the NFL easily.
