Stats are overrated. Rewatch the game. The only reason his stats aren't that high is because our raggedy defense allowed him to kill the clock, with his looooooong drives into the endzone. I agree about the PI call on Gronk, but I never said our offense was struggling, it was the D as usual. They let Newton do everything he wanted except throw the ball and catch it himself for a TD. They were embarrassing as usual.

Why does everybody use stats to defend our defense, especially the secondary, when your eyes are showing you a totally different story?

I never said our D was not stellar and Newton diddnt run all over. What I questioned was the Aaron Rodgers reference. I diddnt think Newtons passing numbers were that great and I still dont think allowing Smith 62 yards and no TD's is a bad day for our secondary.

Also, they scored 24 points which we have given up just about 3 times this year, and our O was somewhat flat compared to usual. Its not like 24 points should be a problem for a pats team, well this year anyway.

Also, why do people gripe about not having this super secondary this year when the team decided to put more resources into the D line which has obviously paid dividends? Better D/better team.

I dont know, I am just trying to fill in some blanks here. And again they had no business winning that game when they had been called for a blatant PI call. Incidentally the same year we get called for a pushing penalty that cost us a game too?

We met on the field of battle again today. This Carolina regiment is hardy but not insurmountable. It seems my new strategy of simply waiting for a mistake to be made by the opponent and then depending on those around me to carry the day while I myself accomplish nothing is bearing fruit.

We took an enemy prisoner the other day. The prisoner seems to have a bad case of diarrhea as the stench coming from him was unbearable. My troops refused to watch over him due to the smell so I was forced to release him. More updates soon.

Sure - they'd be tied at 3-5, on pace for a 6-10 finish.

Colts win division at 6-10 and Commissioner Scheisskopf goes to Colt home playoff game to raise AFC South Division Champion banner and to ride on float in parade in downtown Indianapolis, all televised live on ESPN.
