Comments:

1.) I think we were interested in him because he is a tackle that lines up at guard as well.

2.) Wonder why the Chiefs would give him up...don't they need OL-men?

3.) Does not bode well for Cajuste, IMO.

This guy was displaced by Thuney in KC. Seems to have carved out a spot as a nfl player. The Pats OLine depth is terrible after Karras so they needed help.

My hunch is that this speaks more to Cunningham and Herron than Cajuste, but who knows?

We gave up a 7th rounder. He is a monster, 6'6" 300lbs

** 330lbs (which oddly is a big difference)
The line of beef just got beefier

Watch this guy replace Wynn somehow and we have a line of like 1000 million pounds of mass, or something like that. Calling it now, you heard it here first.

Another versatile player added to the Pats, with that being said will probably read by tomorrow that Yasir Durant was released.

I agree, from the limited action so far i would say Cajuste played solid not too spectacular, Herron as well. I think Karras,Herron,Cajuste and maybe Durant now could be the front runners for the Backup O-Line spots. Could be Ferentz as well. I haven't heard much about Sherman tbh so i do not know how he is doing so far

Yeah, I would be hesitate to take anyone that they wouldn’t start over the scrubs that started the SB.

Chiefs fans see him as extra fat that they were going to have to release anyways so they are happy to get a pick for an undrafted tackle. They didn't say anything bad about him so it seems he can play.

He was a backup to horrible backups in The Super Bowl.

Wouldn't be surprised if this were a conditional 7th for a free tryout, and Yasmir is gone before game 1.

I wouldn't read into that too much. He was a 2020 UDFA in the Covid year. Chances are he wasn't really NFL ready yet as a rookie. Doesn't mean he is this year either, but let's not judge the potential of a kid off of one circumstance his first year.

I agree, but my point was it's likely an end of the roster short few day tryout like Bill does this time of year.

The key piece of information left out in reporting is whether the 7 was conditional.

Does anybody know?
