and how much time did we spend on the UDFA's who were camp tryouts? Obviously, a few weren't, most were.
Difference is some of those guys are actually good and will probably make the team.

.

I am higher on the teams Ol than most here
Wallace, Robinson, Sow, Bryant, Lowe all still have upside. the young players on the roster have been hurt due to poor coaching and injuries. they are still young. Marrone needs to make an impact. McD needs a scheme to protect the OL.
I am eager to see it all unfold
I'm fine with our OT's: Campbell, Moses, Lowe and Wallace. The group might develop into an average set of OT's.
We are OK at C, RG and RT, with Wallace as a possible backup at RT and TG.
so, I have confidence with 60% of the OL (great improvement over 2024), with the above 4 plus Bradbury and Wilson.

I DO NOT HAVE CONFIDENCE in the LG's and backup OG's (except for Wallace).

Ourlads has him listed at OT

he has been a street free agent for a couple of seasons, playing a position the league is extremely short on players. he has been unable to hook on elsewhere.
he is 27 years old
perhaps he is a late bloomer

If Campbell and Moses are worse than Lowe and Jacobs were last year than we are in deep ****.. however the likelyhood of that is the same odds of me hitting on mass cash tonight..

You have Wallace at G? I have him at OT.. ? Or is Robinson a G or OT?

I have Wallace as our backup and perhaps future starting RT. I also have him as a possible backup at RG. as long as he is a backup, it is a huge plus if he can be a Game Day backup RG. Therefore, I have great confidence in the right side of the OL, with two solid starters and a good backup.
===========
Layden Robinson was drafted as a future starter at RG, and is an excellent run blocker. However, if he can't learn to pass block, he may not make the 53. If he can learn to pass block, he could be a starter at RG at some point.

AS FAR AS I CAN SEE,
we will be OK if Strange stays healthy and is his usual worse than average starting LG (that's OK for 2025). I see little help from backups Sow, T Robinson, Durant and Conley. I guess that we're OK. After all, none of them NEEDS to make the 53 if Layden can be the backup LG as well as the backup RG. However, I'd rather add a veteran who can backup LG this year and next. I had hoped that Schweitzer was that guy.

I agree, L Robinson is already an above average run blocker, and a below average pass blocker. what will be Marrone's effect on him?
I also agree Strange is average at best, and perhaps is better served as IOL depth. I have not seen Wallace play a single snap at OG, so cannot comment, but believe he has some upside at RT, given his college tape and his extremely limited snaps last season before he missed 90% of the season with a broken leg. I love his work ethic to come back from that injury to get back onto the field before the season ended. the head scratcher is Sow. going into his 3rd season, we should have a better feel for who he is, yet we don't. I thought we saw some versatility his rookie season, with little to no coaching from Bill's staff. We saw Sow year 2 miss the first 3 games with injury, play 100% of the snaps game 4, and then hardly play any OL position at all the rest of the season. he also missed the last 2 games of the season. was he injured all season? if so, how did he then play snaps at FB? he appeared healthy last season, and no surgeries reported this summer as the players returned to OTA's. he could be the starting LG as easily as he could be cut.

fwiw, I also believe Moses will be solid, but Campbell will be very good, this season

Absolute rancid ****ing less-than-useless ****ing Garbage. Straight Trash, homies. Not even Practice Squad worthy.

"There you have it, gentlemen; what more evidence do we need?"

Meet the New boss... Same as the Old boss.
Cap.. he's a camp body... rag doll.

I want a different i.e. better camp body. I mean, have you seen our depth chart at Offensive Tackle lately?
Beyond it's starting players no team has depth.. back ups are back ups for a reason. He'll be competing with the likes of Lowe and Jacobs for backup role.. id even argue h e's probably more valuable than Lowe because he can play multiple spots.. so... when it's the Dawg days of camp and Vrabel gives the veterans a day off he can be inserted to pretend to block someone.

Durant is NOT more valuable than Low. Nor can he play multiple spots; certainly not anywhere close to NFL-caliber, that's for sure.

Cap.. unfortunately he is.. Lowe only knows how to play one spot... so wait... we are arguing who's more valuable Lowe or Durant.... where did the conversation go wrong.... this is definitely two DOT guys for sure LMAO...
