DRAFT BGC 2021 Pre-Draft/Patriot-Type Prospect(s) thread

I’m good. Give me Horn, Surtain, or Newsome. That’s way too much injury baggage.
Strikes me as someone you're always going to be taking care of. Robert Quinn, Gronk, heavy maintenance every week to get in the field.

I would love to see Horn brought in as the heir apparent to Gilmore.

I'd love to see Brandin Echols brought in as a Slater understudy.. Kid doesn't just have 40 speed. He has GAME speed with PLENTY to spare.

He’s updated with a breakdown by position:

And last but not least, here’s Nystrom’s 7-round mock draft:

For those who don’t want to look through the whole thing, here are the picks he gives us:

1.015 - Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
2.046 - Landon ****erson, OL, Alabama
3.096 - Davis Mills, QB, Stanford
4.120 - James Wiggins, S, Cincinnati
4.122 - Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson
4.139 - Bobby Brown III, DT, Texas A&M
5.177 - Chubba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State
6.188 - Brandon Stephens, CB, Southern Methodist
6.197 - Camryn Bynum, CB, California
7.242 - Erroll Thompson, LB, Mississippi State

Lots of guys we've been discussing. Mills, Rodgers (I think Powell might be more our type?), Brown, Thompson, Wiggins.

Hoping I get 4-5 picks right off the board.

I used to have so much fun on Lansdowne St.

One guy i was briefly mentioning on the Big Board thread that deserves PTP attention. It is not a need but could be nice future piece to add.
There's a lot of Shaq Mason in Kendrick Green (better seen in full NW game):

Mason - 6’15-304-32“-4.99-1.75-4.65-7.53-32“9“VJ-BP:25

Green -- 6’2-305-32“3-4.89-1.69-4.67-7.79+35“5VJ!-BP:25

Here is another OL prospect that is imo very much underrated and we should consider.
He has legit experience at RT, G and C. Has legit NFL size. Played well against top college competition (Nixon, Togiai). Tested very well.
Yet somehow he is off most draftnicks boards?

Here some measurable comparisons fwiw:

Karras -- 6’35-307-32“5-5.34-1.88-4.70-8.15-26“5VJ-8'10BJ-BP:32)
Farniok --- 6’5-311-33“-5.20-1.78-4.47-7.19-33“VJ!-8'09BJ-BP:28) > was listed at 330 & prob. played at 320+
Thuney -- 6’45-304-32“-4’95-1’71-4.54-7’47-28“VJ-9'02BJ-BP:28)

I thought some people would at least consider him after Pro Day like it often happens. Especially since the crazy agility numbers showed he has potential to play well in space - which could be seen on tape beforehand (dont miss his first play in Ohio State tape below showing awareness-agility and explosiveness) Yes there are some whiffs here and there and his space coordination needs work but if this is not worth a low round pick i dont know what is.. Just look how he moves LOS against one of the top DL units (Froholdt who didn't show this kind of physicality or versatility and had additional problem with very short arms was picked in 4th round..)

Hmm.. Najee Harris is only the 4th best RB? Horn doesn't make his CB list? Kellen Mond the 4th best QB?

Simms must be on crack..
His success is measured in clicks and reposts more than in being right. If he didn't put in a few jaw droppers, nobody would repost it.

i had a small crush on him briefly a few weeks back just because of his physical length (reminds me of Chandler Jones)

lol!!! i just reread that

Only one I'd be surprised by is Dyami Brown
