Who is the stud QB?
If I was the Bears GM sign Josh, trade for Jimmy, Jefferies white miller and Langford is the base of a decent offense which is all I was really saying. Use the rest of your picks to shore up the defense and offensive line. Get competitive in another year or two cleaning house and getting solid vets in FA who buy in for cheap. By "make some noise" I meant 7-9 to playoff contender not 14-2 Super Bowl contenderChicago needs more than QB/coach but which team doesnt?
Maybe I'm daft, but I feel like a Jaguars team headed by McDaniels with Jimmy G at QB running Josh's offense would wipe the floor with that division...
I hope not I hope he goes thanks but no thanks.
What other jobs are avaiable!
If Bowles, Lynn Fox Coughlin are in place?
That makes the Rams Job the best one available.
Unless Cincy, Green Bay or New orleans open up.
Well everyone gets the "contractual assurances". Rex got a 5 year deal. so he'll get paid. The problem lies in how many years you actually get to coach. Contractually they all get 4+ year dealsIt all depends on what McDaniels thinks of Goff and Bortles, doesn't it? Outside of those teams:
Buffalo - He'd be a fool to go there. He'd have to deal with the GM, the owners, and a (probably) pissed off BB
Chargers - Moving team, lousy owners, aging QB with an unpleasant contract, more injuries than you'd expect at a torturing convention
Chicago - Interesting choice, if he can bring JAG along, and if he gets contractual assurances that he's safe for at least 3 seasons.
Imo, there is ZERO chance Josh stays in AFCEast. Last team he wants to play twice a year is the pats.Buffalo might actually be a good gig. Their roster is deceptively loaded with talent. Could be a QB away from being good, now that Rex is out of the picture.
That fan base would be deleriously happy (and watching a home playoff game) if the Jags were just a little bit better than the Titans, Colts, and Texans. There is no lower bar to success. Why? They are a pretty crappy team and have been for awhile.
That changes quickly. Look around at the divisions. Within 3 years the strong look weak and the weak look strong. That fan base would be deleriously happy (and watching a home playoff game) if the Jags were just a little bit better than the Titans, Colts, and Texans. There is no lower bar to success.

I like Jax. That is a place I think the talent is at least partially there and they are underperforming to the level of talent.
