Maybe try something more productive like a petition. If we can get 100,000 signatures maybe Bob pressures Bill into firing him.

Don't strongly disagree but too many sub treads in the TB12 thread. Tampa thread. Tom thread. Anti BB thread. AG thread. TB Sr thread... All deserving of individual discussion. If it was just one thread i'm ok w it being on the main board but it's expanded in scope lol.

Nothing to disagree with. I agree that numerous threads about the same exact topic on the main board is not needed.

I think Bill making a statement that he has never expressed warranted it's own thread.

If this thread starts talking about Bill's win percentage or other nonsense like that then it's pointless.

But to discuss what that comment means and if it's justified certainly merrits a discussion.

What’s this about Josh McDaniels? I don’t know too much about offensive coordinating, but it seems like McDaniels is one of the best there is. I heard Shannon Sharpe say he was Brady’s secret weapon, particularly with his ingenious use of shotgun, spread formations and red zone concepts. Josh is the best, no?

This particular poster only posts one thing and that's " anti Bill"...there is never anything else that he posts or nothing that he adds to this forum. He drives me and Ross crazy with these ridiculous threads that he starts during the middle of the night. There is no discussion with him, it's just anti Bill, anti Bill, anti Bill. this schtick is really becoming tiring.

I was once accused of obsessing about Brady’s contract situation. I was then accused about the AB conundrum. And the Gronk mishandling. And then obsessing about the FA nonsense overspend.

These are all GM decisions.

You know, I am not the only one. Lots of fans disagree with their GM and still are diehard fans.
BB has made terrific GM decisions in the past, like Moss or Revis or Gronk’s long-term contract. Hell I even loved Alge Crumpler as TE3 behind Gronk and Hernandez to teach them.

But he’s had a string of bad decisions lately (and bad drafts) and his GM skills deserve the opprobrium I am casting on him.

Agree. Every single media outlet, print, radio, tv is discussing everything BB-TFB including the most important decision in recent Pats history, to part with the GOAT. It seems extremely odd that this type of discussion would be censored, in of all places, a Patriots forum.

There's plenty of other threads out there, from football to fnord's inflatable companions, for those that want to avoid this matter.

Bad drafting is arguably the root of the problems with Brady, if you take the long view.

Too many bad drafts meant a bunch of cap space was dumped into veterans who were mostly fine (they won a title after the 2018 season after all), but were bad in terms of bang for the buck vs. what you get from quality rookies and young guys on their first contract. It also contributed to the general low quality of the offensive weapons since several of the FA WR moves just flopped (AB, Sanu, Gordon)

Fast forward to 2019-2020 and there are no weapons, and no cap space to both give Brady a fair multi-year deal AND try to re-load the roster. In fact, in the 2020 offseason they ended up doing neither and Cam was throwing to trash scrubs in 2020 like Brady did in 2019.

Hypothetically, better drafts would have meant more weapons for Brady and more cap space to pay him. That doesn't guarantee he stays, but it sure makes it a lot harder choice vs. what actually happened.

last two drafts were bad drafts? (Mac, Barmore, Owneu, Uche, Dugger, Rham, Asiasi) Good potential there...that's not including Perkins who I think has good potential as well.

Also, no need to start 10 threads about BB and how bad he is...It's good to discuss this but it should all be done it one thread, now 10 different ones.You come across as someone that is just interested in trolling.

For the same reason I asked @Biffins to chill out. With all due respect, you’ve been beating the same drum over and over again. We get it, you don’t like him - and that’s fine. But saying it over and over gets extremely frustrating and it has been an issue in numerous threads. So consider this me asking you to tone that down a bit
