BB on whether he thinks he would have the same success without Brady: "Of course not"

Yea, as a coach. Duh

Brady has succeeded w/o Bill. Bill admits he wouldn't have succeeded w/o Brady. I knew you wouldn't admit his throwing in the towel. It took guts for Bill to say this 2 days before The Game. I commend him for it. Be a man and take the L.
I feel like you're spinning what he said due to some agenda. With that said... Its sad this forum has become a brady vs belichick forum. The moment Tom Brady left this team was the moment this forum began to have a different kind of energy.

Of course he is.
Belichick won with Brady, Brady won with belichick. They weren’t competing for glory, they were the best QB and best HC of all time winning more than anyone ever has, because of each other.
Anyone saying otherwise reeks of an agenda.

Never thought I would say this in my life...Monday cannot get here soon enough. For ****s sake. Brady's gone. He's not coming back. Arguing debating this **** or trying to justify one over the other is an excercise in futility and stupidity.

The greatest player and greatest coach were together for two decades. To think that one couldn't win a SB without the other is ignorant. And to think that either would be as successful over the past twenty plus years without each other is equally as ignorant.

Tommy could of been drafted by a team and never given a chance because the high priced Pro Bowler was in front of him and the coach didn't have the balls to play the kid over the pricey respected vet. Or maybe BB has another 5-11 or worse season anothe year and drafts some other 1st round QB or lands Brees etc...no one knows how it could of gone. We only know how it went. So enjoy the greatest run in modern NFL history and stop *****ing about it. What is obvious is the two were done with each other.

Thank you both. It gives me a headache.

Some Pats fans are sounding like Rex Ryan when it comes to Belichick. Always feels the need to crap on him when propping up Brady.

Some pats fans are starting to sound like fans on other teams, who feel they have to crap on Brady and use Belichick has a way to diminish him.

Hey...I saw Joe Kapp at QB for our Pats. I'm immune to this "Jimmy!/Danny!...no ...Danny!/Jimmy!" WQAM Doofins redux. SSDD...

I'm not as quick to say Brady wouldn't have won as much somewhere else. His first year without bill he won. Who knows if he still wins 6 without bill. He may have. Maybe not.. but to say he "definitely" wouldn't have? I'm not making that statement. He is the greatest QB of all time and the position he plays is by far the most important.
This.

You believe Belichick leads Pennington & Woody's stinking Jete into a dynasty?

Good lord man.

You don’t know….they managed to go to the afcc twice….they weren’t that far off then

or does your bias prevent you from remembering things clearly?

He was Jerry Rice with Rich Gannon throwing to him and Gannon isn't as good as either of those guys. Hopefully Mac is the equivalent of that for Bill.

Jerry rice was not a perennial all pro with the raiders…..

BB drafted and developed Brady. Brady was hard working, smart and a talented. Team won rings. Fanboys need a bad guy.

and now it’s a matter of picking a side in the bonfire of the vanities

There is no need to pick a side. They won together. More than anyone ever has. I can figure out why fans who were delivered that success have to find a way to trash one of the people who delivered it to them. Belichick and Brady are both in record saying they could never have done as much without the other. They aren’t picking a side, why should fans?

Yes they won together but they are no longer together

The only side I have is the patriots …. Whether I agree with anything is irrelevant since I am always going to be a pats fan. Brady’s gone … there is no Tom Brady…..thanks for the 6 Super Bowls, see ya

I wasn’t referring to picking a side Sunday, I was referring to people trying to discredit one or the other for the success.

I wasn’t talking about Sunday

I'm no BB homer, but I don't think BB had much choice to say anything else no matter what he feels or thought. He doesn't want to give ammo to Tom before a game.
I am going on a limb here and saying, Brady has ammo

Yeah there is still a Tom Brady even if you do not like it.
