Banned from Chargers.com Board!!

Actually, it does! I was on the thread I mentioned for the past 2 days, so every reason for my ban HAS to be in that thread, "Why the Rich..."

No one gets banned for "cumulative comments". It's for a specific reason, i.e. trolling, disruption, vulgarity, etc. Had I truly been disruptive, I would not have gotten the number of positive replies I received...and I got many.

Look, I just wanted to bring this to our fans' attention to show that people DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH. They just want to see the Patriots and our fans suffer. It's ALL about envy & hatred for most opposing fans.

I can honestly say that banning someone who is being on the level and respectful while arguing an unpopular viewpoint is the sign of a website whose Mods/Admin have lost control of their emotions and have had the internet equivalent of a nervous breakdown.

I can understand why that may have happened on a SD fansite after last Sunday. Understand, they have been targeting that game since April when the scheds came out as the one chance to redeem their expectations and hopes in 2006. So when they got pasted (the score wasn't even indicative of the domination) they basically wet their pants.

Here, it is not accepted to ban or delete someone merely for point of view or for whom they root. Only vulgarity, personal bullying, disrespectful trolling or multiple usernames will get someone banned.

If the SD fansite is run by levelheaded people, I would think they would regret and perhaps rethink your ban as long as you were respectful and not purposely antagonizing folks there.

Since they weren't specific as to why you were banned, no, it doesn't. I wasn't insulting you with my post. Without a precise explanation of why you were banned, people would need to review your entire post history unless something glaring happened to be found.

No insult taken...But IMO, they did give a pretty specific reason for being banned, "Defending a Cheater"

I guess they don't mind embaressing themselves when they give their reasons.

Thank you for your comments and insights! The thread I have been referring to that I posted on their Smack board can actually be found on our board as well. It's called "What the NFL doesn't Want to Know" and here's the link

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/showthread.php?t=61727

It hasn't gotten much interest on our board but it did on theirs. Keep in mind I wrote the thread on their Smack board.

=====================================

Same could be said for some members of Patsfan.com.

People for the most part go to there fan website to cheer for there team and not here counterpoints.

Trolls are great when it comes to keeping the hits up on a website.

Not wanting to hear it, and banning are two different things.

Reading that, I'd have to say it would get moved real quickly to the Visiting Lockerroom if it ever was posted here (insert Indy fan and the Colts). I guess that would be the equivalent of the SD fan "Smack Board"? I dunno.

Banning? No.

Feel free to check out my posts over there...although I don't want to bore you to death! If I wasn't playing nice, they would not have posted that ridiculous memo saying "Banned for defending a cheater..." crap.

All they want to do is believe what they believe no matter what the facts are.
Not sure why you would want to go wasting your time on another teams board

That's why i can't go to that board because no one seems to behave there anymore! They will ban you for something stupid, they attack you if you root for a different team, and sometimes are down right mean! sorry for you getting that typee of treatment, that's not how all charger fans act or feel.

For the same reason you call yourself "He Ban Me" maybe?

Probably because this is America, how's that sound?

Thank you so much for bring Politics onto this board.
Someone mentioned being banned on chargers.com so I talked about being banned on patsfans.com... Yeah that was a real radical derailment on my part...
If you have a problem with the Mods on that board, please PM Ian and leave this board for Patriots Football.
What part of "I've written moderators and the administrator time and time again" did you not understand..?

So, the smiley face at the end of the sentence didn't do anything for you? It didn't even clue you in to the possibility that my comment was tongue in cheek??

Ok, sorry buddy! I thought your smiley was tongue in cheek! I took it wrong, I admit!

And if those people don't give you an answer you agree with, you're going to lay your troubles on US - - fully knowing that it is against the rules of this FOOTBALL board to continually post political dogma?

Now THAT is bannable.

Dude, I have sympathy for you for getting banned from the Patsfans.com Political Forum you enjoy. There are many other Political websites that have forums for you to enjoy. The PATRIOT FOOTBALL Forum on Patsfans.com is NOT one of them. Kapische?

As an FYI...if you try to join Chargers.com, you'll get a reply that says "Registration has been disabled"...maybe someone over there saw my thread & didn't want to deal with criticism...but I'm sure it's more that they're tired of visitors.

Does our registration ever get disabled?

How is commiseration about being banned for what you don't feel is a ban-worthy offense political?

I was on their board defending BB before their loss. My reason for being there was only to defend our team and this over-blown issue.

I never rubbed our victory in their face as other Pats fans did. I wasn't there to gloat and I told them that. I made it clear I was there as one of the only voices to defend the Patriots from ruthless rumors and accusations.

That was my sole purpose.
I hear what you are saying. I had over 1,000 posts on that board, and I got along with most of the other posters.

Chargeroo went off on me..big bold caps and everything. Next thing they banned me. What I had posted just prior to getting banned really wasn't much different from what I always posted. I am not a hostile, belligerent, in your face kind of poster, but I don't like to hear some of the real trash they were putting on Belichick, Brady, and the Pats...but I still remained respectful.

I thought they just wanted other teams fans to post only in the Smack Shack, but apparently they aren't tolerant in that forum now. Oh well....think I'll go try a Bills board.

A BIG thanks to the Patriots fan on Chargers.com who calls himself bobmal99 for defending me over there!

I appreciate your loyalty as a Pats fan!!

Let us know if they ban you!

Simple. Patriots Reign was talking football smack in a Fottball Smack forum.

Quigon was talking Politics in this thread which is in a Football Forum that expressly prohibits political posts.

Herei s his first post in this thread:

"That's nothing... I've been banned from the patsfans.com poltical forum because I have the audacity to actually be a Conservative... I've written moderators and the administrator time and time again and nobody seems to want to respond to my letters."

Comparing PatriotsReign's situation to Quigon's is apples to oranges and is a hijacking of this thread.

I made one post referencing a ban on me in the political forum (in response to a post that talked about being banned in another forum). That hardly constitutes "continually posting political dogma" so please try to better control your emotions and join us in the real world.

Kapische?

Kapische?

One post? Here's your SECOND:
___________
"No, that's why I was suspended for a short period of time. I served that suspension (and even admitted it was deserved).

Since that suspension my behavior was much more in line with the official rules... I even mostly ignored remarks about me "teabagging" Ann Coulter (of course, the moderator ignored those remarks too which is part of the problem, but I digress)... And yet, for some reason, my purely political posts were constantly disappearing..."

___________

When do you start telling the truth and stop hijacking other people's threads to complain about YOUR situation?

I have an idea! Why don't you start a NEW thread on this board to complain about your situation on the political Forum. THAT way you can see clearly how much everyone on THIS board will react to your "relevant" situation.
