Actually, it does! I was on the thread I mentioned for the past 2 days, so every reason for my ban HAS to be in that thread, "Why the Rich..."
No one gets banned for "cumulative comments". It's for a specific reason, i.e. trolling, disruption, vulgarity, etc. Had I truly been disruptive, I would not have gotten the number of positive replies I received...and I got many.
Look, I just wanted to bring this to our fans' attention to show that people DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH. They just want to see the Patriots and our fans suffer. It's ALL about envy & hatred for most opposing fans.
I can honestly say that banning someone who is being on the level and respectful while arguing an unpopular viewpoint is the sign of a website whose Mods/Admin have lost control of their emotions and have had the internet equivalent of a nervous breakdown.
I can understand why that may have happened on a SD fansite after last Sunday. Understand, they have been targeting that game since April when the scheds came out as the one chance to redeem their expectations and hopes in 2006. So when they got pasted (the score wasn't even indicative of the domination) they basically wet their pants.
Here, it is not accepted to ban or delete someone merely for point of view or for whom they root. Only vulgarity, personal bullying, disrespectful trolling or multiple usernames will get someone banned.
If the SD fansite is run by levelheaded people, I would think they would regret and perhaps rethink your ban as long as you were respectful and not purposely antagonizing folks there.
