At least one X poster (forget who) identified the culprit in KO coverage as Caleb Murphy.
He was cut on Mon, 15 Dec 25 at 4pm.
circumstantial evidence; but seems 'consequential rather than coincidental"

Particularly, since they replaced the LB with another LB on 16 Dec with the second transaction.

Follow up to previous…,

I think it significant to note that Vrabel stated ( ? Can’t remember: on Wed interview w the coach or a Tue interview) that Chad Muma was a good pickup because among other things „…..he has experience in kickoff coverage…,,“

So again seems pretty consequential and deliberate AND SWIFT…,. You f-up; your Gone (at least if a fringe player) and I’ll get somebody else just as good.

The take away to me is that their other team scouting is well prepared …. with a list of targets on other teams‘ PSs when they have a need to backfill an injury.

Even if somewhat trite, for me It doesn’t get old yet saying it but: ….WHAT A DIFFERENCE FROM MAYO/A YEAR MAKES!!

The only dose of reality that I took away from the game is that the NFL has it's thumb firmly on the scales against the Patriots Organization still. 5 years of mediocrity wasn't enough for that S**THEAD Goodell and the other owners.
