Are you all in on CB Travis Hunter at 4 (Hunter as a WR?)

Did signing Kurt Cousins to a massive contract last year prevent the Falcons from draftin Penix at #8?

In contrast Wilson was signed for only 1 year.
I agree, Giants are taking a QB either at 3 or in the second round but probably at 3 if Sanders slips. They are unlikely to be this close to drafting one of the top QB's next year. It's not even clear Manning comes out, maybe Nico Iamaleava is a top QB prospect but that might be it, you can't count on drafting a QB in the future.

Look at the Giants last year, they took there #1 receiver and now still looking for the most important piece despite drafting #3 overall this year. You take the #1 QB prospect every time of you don't have one. I think Sanders stinks but rumors are the Giants like Sanders, if so, they take him if there.

I think Giants are planning because they feel high chance Sanders is taken by the Browns.

Of course, the GM in NY kind of sucks so you never know.

Was listening to Bert Breer last week and he called Hunter a generational talent at WR, will need some time to polish but he has all the "right stuff"...
Cannot remember the last time the Pats drafted a really great WR...

With Wilson signing in NY, I don’t see Hunter being on the board at 4. We either trade down (unlikely)or take Mason Graham?
Wilson is a 1 year deal. The Giants did not pick a QB last year and regret it. There is no indication so far the Giants aren't picking a QB. 1 year QB deals indicate the team is looking in another direction for a longer term QB solution. No-one thinks 36 year old Wilson is a long term QB solution.

It makes sense for both Cleveland and NY to take a chance on Sanders.
Yeah. Their coaches/GMs are on the hottest of hot seats. The only way they survive is by getting a rookie and showing some kind of future for the franchise.

Wasn't Marvin Harrison Jr meant to be a generational talent. Still waiting and I'm growing old.
He was better than any patriots receiver last year.

60 catches 800 yards 8 tds with a midget qb as a rookie is awfully damn good.

1977 Rd 1 pick 25 - Stanley Morgan
1973 Darryl Stingley pick #19 in that draft either or had to go to they way back machine for both.

Looks good but not sure about the generational part..

PFF used their mock draft simulator to unearth what fans of each team are selecting in their mock drafts.

75% of Titans fans pick Cam Ward

35.5% of Browns fans pick Abdul Carter
27.5% of Browns fans pick Travis Hunter

31.5% of Giants fans pick Travis Hunter
31.2% of Giants Fans pick Shedeur Sanders

31% of Patriots fans pick Abdul Carter

The next highest percentage after Ward to Titans was 55.3% of Jaguar Fans with Mason Graham

Interesting how the most popular pick for the Browns is Carter, Vegas odds say Carter also.
Beginning to think Browns might actually pick Carter.

I'm a solid hell naw on Hunter. A smallish guy who's not particularly dominant on offense or defense? Weaksauce. Ya, no thank you. Not at 4, I don't care about his "elite athleticism". He's a wee fella.

96 catches for 1256 yards and 15 touchdowns literally without practicing on offense isn’t dominant enough? While also shutting down opposing receivers.

Sorry, everyone is entitled to their opinion but that is objectively wrong. There is nothing to back that up. He's the best WR and the best zone CB in the league. I wouldn't want him as a CB at the Patriots because he's not a particularly good man CB, but he's an excellent WR, with generational hands and body control, ridiculously smart and he's only scratched the surface as a WR.

This guy is going to be like pre CTE Antonio Brown as a WR

Travis Hunter. 6 3/8" 188. 76" wingspan Combine measurement.

Tyreek Hill. 5'10 185 lbs.

Devonta Smith 6' 170 lbs.

Ja'marr Chase. 6' 201 lbs.

Justin Jefferson 6'1 195 lbs.

Malik Nabers 6'0 200 lbs.

Jerry Jeudy 6'1 195 lbs.

I could go on but there's no point. Travis Hunter is well within the size range of top star WRs in the NFL.

I seriously doubt that gaining 5-10 lbs of muscle will be hard for him in a pro strength and conditioning program.

Additional weight can be gained, natural talent cannot.
