This was the first in series of Rex stories on the now defunct KissingSuzyKolber site. While fictional, I like to believe it was close to the way Rex acted while coaching the Jets. I read a couple of the other installments and they weren't quite as good as this one. One thing they all shared was the phrase "Door flies open" (signalling Rex's entrance) accompanied by this picture:



This is how I like to remember Rex. This and the unfulfilled guarantees and all the losing.
