A Pretty Impressive Offense!

We will add lots of improvements in the off-season, obviously on the OL and at WR. And hopefully we will find a way to have an OL with many fewer penalties. Perhaps we will upgrade a coach or two (and those who stay will be better after getting some experience under their belts).

But look at where we start. Our Offense might have scored 7-10 more points more than the TWENTY FOUR we scored if penalties were reduced.

a fine QB
a running game with 200 yards, led by two solid RB's
two solid TE's (extend Hopper ASAP)
an OK set of two slot receivers in Douglas and Bourne
and OK backup outside receiver in Boutte.

I don't know why the opening poster is acting like we played a juggernaut on Defense. Also we were @ home not a winning environment anymore. You can count on one hand how many good players are on this Team.

Ownership knows what this team is. They are all on the Same page with the direction of everything. As fans it drives us crazy watching this team. However they will spend this off season.. if they don't they will hear thier echos each Sunday at Gillette. However i agree with you.

I don't see how any coaches in the NFL are fat. They have state of the art gyms, sports doctors and nutritionists on staff.

Outside of the dolphins game they are showing progress on this side, just wish we could see some defensively . You still need a *guy* in the passing game and upgrade the tackles. Once you land a legitimate weapon that solves alot of problems and makes everything else look better. Thats a good way to overcome iffy playcalling and mistakes. Ideally you fix them all eventually, but i say first and foremost sign an LT and go get Higgins and/or tet.

Drake and the offense look much better than we could have expected at this point, now if they actually add the talent in around Drake its gonna get REAL baby!

Curran reported ownership is "resigned that this is a multi year rebuild". I for one was optimistic during the offseason becuase I felt while Drake was being developed Brissett would had been steady at QB as the QB position had been the detriment last few seasons post brady. I felt even with Bill not here the same principles and coaches are still here on the defense. I was woefully wrong! However to help with the madness this season it's only 4 games left. 3 blowouts left.. 2 against Buffalo and 1 against the Chargers. I feel like that will had been enough to make a change at DC at least. They have to spend as it's league mandated.

I have been impressed overall with Maye’s development so far!!
AVP and Ben Mcadoo deserve some credit for that.

For this year I do not care about wins and losses. Maye’s development is critical and that is headed in right direction

Brother so you don't drive yourself madd.. they aren't going to make any changes at HC until at least next season when the clock starts for everyone.. it's the harsh reality of the situation

Why waste another year?

If you could list the good things they did this year and be able to give me any degree of confidence that they have a clue I might feel differently but I’ve never seen this many bad decisions and such a horribly low hit rate.
Why let them screw up another off season?
