Nix has had 8 4th quarter and OT comebacks in year 2. All he does is ball out. Maye concerns me. Sure, he’s adequate but he makes a lot of mistakes under pressure and pressure is what he’s gonna see at altitude next week.
No. That means that Nix and the Denver offense failed to put things together until they 4th Quarter when they were forced to work from behind.
Maye actually doesn't make that many mistakes under pressure. But then, you're cherry-picking things instead of looking at the entire year. What you don't understand is that Maye has been the most pressured QB in the entire league this year. Mainly because of the LT and LG situation for the Pats. He's also been the best at handling said pressure despite the sacks and fumbles.
What I see when I look at the Broncos is this:
Broncos have a good veteran O-line. But they have no running game without Dobbins. Stidham is not Nix. Either when it comes to the Passing game or using his legs.
Broncos D has given up 32 to the Giants, 34 to the Jaguars, and 30 to the Bills.
Denver has a good D, but it's clearly susceptible. And you haven't faced a team with 2 quality RBs in Stevenson (4.6 YPC) and Henderson (5.0 YPC) and that has a mobile QB like Maye (4.4 YPC).
Denver's Point differential was +90. Only the Steelers (+10), Eagles(+54), Bears (+26) and Panters (-69) were worse out of the 14 play-off teams.
