On Tuesday, the New England Patriots and Kraft family released a statement regarding racial injustice in the United States while addressing the recent murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The statement comes following a roundtable discussion about racism and protests hosted by the McCourty twins on their “Double Coverage” podcast earlier this week.
In addition, multiple members of the Patriots took park in “Blackout Tuesday” on Instagram.
The Patriots joined the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and Boston Celtics as New England regional teams speaking out in recent days.
