Did I just see Stroud pray with our players after a loss? Wow, that is pathetic.

Good game D and offense played well in the 4th. Stidham is the only thing between us and a SB trip now!
It’s a post game, any player or coach from either team prayer circle. Happens every week. Drake Maye always joins it.

Wish I could triple ‘winner’ this. And no injuries to speak of…
So, you think that Carlton Davis going to the locker room with a "head injury" is no injury to speak of?

Super UNreligious. And sick of whining.
I meant to say big surprised you are super UN religious.
I’m on your side

Yeah, but only a truly trash team would lose to Houston. Like, how dreadful would a team have to be to actually lose to CJ Stroud? And what if they only scored 19 points? Inconceivable.

Don't be surprised if it doesn't happen.. The Pundits are going to do whatever they can to downplay the Defense's success.
I saw a video of the ESPN2 broadcast where they basically put the blame on CJ Stroud and not give as much credit for the Pats defense, but gave the Texans defense all the credit for Maye's struggles.

CONGRATS PATRIOTS NATION!!! WHAT A RIDE...WHAT A SEASON.

This will be our 16th appearance in the AFC Championship Game (11-4) which is tied with Pittsburgh (8-8) for second most behind only the San Francisco 49ers who have played in 19 (8-11) Conference Title Games. The Broncos are playing in their 11th AFCCG and are 8-2.

In my lifetime as a Patriots fan which dates back to the 1985 season, the Broncos are the franchise who has given us the most problems. John Elway retired with a perfect 11-0 record against us including a Division Playoff win in 1986. I remember that game well. It was the first time I had my heart broken.

Denver did it again in the season finale of the 1988 season. The Patriots were riding a 6 game winning streak and were sitting at 9-6 going into that game. They were in control of their own destiny. Win and they were in. Unfortunately, Elway beat us again.

In 2005, we were competing for our 3rd straight SB title but a road trip to Denver in the Divisional Round didn't go our way. I always felt the officiating in that game was one sided and cost us the game. If we had won, we would have played the Steelers in the AFC Championship Game and we all know what happens when Brady plays the Steelers.

In 2013 and 2015, Manning's Broncos beat us in the AFC Championship Game. If not for those losses, we would have played in six consecutive Super Bowls.

This franchise has struggled more in Denver more than in any other location. Even worse than Miami.

Having said that, this is a new era and a new team who will ultimately chart their own destiny. I can think of no opponent I'd rather beat in the AFC Championship than to knock out the Broncos in Denver.

Feel the magic.....BECOME THE MAGIC!!!

LETS GO PATS!!!
Corey dillon was on one leg that season

Lmfao I forgot about this. Mr. Cow is *****ing the Pats got to play the awful CJ Stroud and it's not fair, yet the Bills actually LOST to the Texans earlier this year, and Stroud didn't even play - they lost to freaking Davis Mills!!!

Man, I forgot that Stroud was out.

I wonder if Jennings will be active in Denver?
Jennings was placed on IR on December 13, but I no longer understand IR rules in regards to returning vs done for the season.

I am kinda excited we have 2 playoff wins without playing our best football. We have another gear. Sort of like 2001

Last week before the game: "The Pats are frauds, now that they have to play good teams in the playoffs they'll be exposed, the Chargers D is legit"
Last week after the game: "The Pats still haven't played anyone good, Justin Herbert is so bad"

This week before the game: "The Pats are frauds, now that they have to play the greatest defense of all time they're going to get destroyed"
This week after the game: "The Pats still haven't played anyone good, CJ Stroud is so bad"

Let's hope that the NFL doesn't put Davis into the protocol.. I could see them doing that to try and screw the pats.
If it didn’t let him come back into the game because of a head injury then he’s already in the protocol

Even worse.

I just watched Drake Maye play like absolute TRASH for 4 quarters and you still won because of how bad CJ Stroud is.
Drake Maye lead the team on 3 long drives and threw 3 TDs against Houston, which is more than any other QB.

At the end of the day, the Texans recovered 2 of his fumbles.

He had over a 100 passer rating.

Couldn't help thinking during the game that so many of these players grew up with the epic scenes of playoff football Foxborough in the winter and snow and it really must have been awesome to be part of it. "Just like on TV." They're professionals of course so put that aside, but still must be a cool feeling.

Maye will not face a better D this year. In fact that is the best D he's faced in his career. Learn from it.

He needs to push up make plays, dnd that will lead to mistakes, but don't make more than needed

I made fun of Allen yesterday for his abysmal TOs
Maye was trash today luckily Stroud was worse
Ball security needs to be the emphasis with Maye
