Mayo/BB?? Benching Bourne gives us the best chance to win.

Funny thing is KB was the teams best WR last year.. he was on his way to at least a 800, 900 yard season prior to getting the ACL injury at Miami. We Know what KB can do when he's healthy, I still don't think he's 100%.. so that may also have alot to do with Mayo sitting him.

I'll chalk this up as a Rehab year for him, he could look good next year with legit #2 in the fold.

Higgins - Douglas - Boutte - Polk - Bourne and Baker.

I like it!.... yeah I wouldn't get down at all on KB.. it takes time to round into form.. from a serious injury.. KB is good to have around for Drake.. tee Higgins/slayton/KB/polk/baker/pop/Boutee!! That's a nice WR room there..

We are not keeping 7 wide receivers after signing 2 big name receivers .

I think slayton might be a good fit here if baker develops so that we have good possession receivers , good slot, good boundary receiver. Higgins with injury and 30 million / 125 million / 80 million guaranteed is too rich for our likings.

At age 26 on Four or Five year contract I don't have a problem with that. Beggars can't be choosers we have shown we can't draft them...those who can't daft them: have to pay for them in FA. That's how it works.

You have to take into account the practice squad and you can keep 7 they all won't be active come game days. Agreed slayton is on my wishlist for a trade possibility. I still believe the top WR is available by trade don't forget about DK in Seattle as as option as well.

At 6'4 219 I can't see Maye missing a connection with that Target. We better go all or nothing for Higgins in FA I don't think the Bengals are going to Tag him.

only so I can see if I can get people to go "Tee TIIIIIME" when he catches a ball at Murphy's or somewhere

They won't tag him because they have to pay Chase who is forcing the Bengals hand. But then again, they may want to pay both WR's as they don't really have anyone else to pay on that team.

With that said, he's a "buyer beware" player. I don't think an offense should go through him.

He would be a legitimate #2 here with his catch radius.

I wouldn't say I hate him, but, boy, does he take a long time to state the obvious.

I don't hate him either; he's just another 4-letter network clown who's not worth my time.

That, and maybe because he seems to fall down or run into his own teammates half the time he's out there...

Yeah and when the OC isn't calling plays as if Brissett is still playing

He changes the whole calculus on the offense just by being out there. Douglas and Boutte would feast, not to mention the Henry/Hooper combo.

BB on the victory:

“Well, I think [Maye’s] done a good job when he’s been able to scramble and run around,” Belichick said on The Pat McAfee Show. “Made some plays on play-action where they can separate the defense because the running game, when Stevenson can get it going, draw some of the coverages and the linebackers up and so forth. But to me, the bigger thing is just where the Bears are. They can’t protect. They can’t move the ball. They can’t score any points.”

I'm with Belichick.

The Bears were terrible and it doesn't follow that the Pats were good. I liked the design of plays to Hooper and the flea-flicker/reverse/screen to Douglas, but, those bits of creativity apart, I didn't see a scary, NFL-level offense (very poor in the red zone).

As for the D, perhaps it was the coverage, but Williams held on to the ball like another Jacoby Brissett and then was inaccurate in the throws he actually did make.

I agree. At least Da Bears were so bad it is hard to draw any conclusions about the Pats. This week against the Rams will be give us a good gauge of much to Pats have improved.

Our Young WR's Need to step up that's our achilles heel right now along with Offensive Tackle. Not crying over spilt milk but we would be in a much better place with WR Ladd McConkey... Wolf totally messed up there.
