Again another reason why I can't stand AVP why is K.J. Osborn getting more snaps than Pop Douglas?? That should never happen under the sun: He has so much to show for those 29 snaps. Even Bourne who was Benched had more of an Impact than Osborn.

Gibson & Bell need more snaps, and SloPolk fewer of them. As in None.

Apologies if already reported but the Bears have fired their OC Shane Waldron.

No it wasn’t.
The message in the game thread was a joke (Mac 7 Drake 3)

The post in the message board was not a joke.
I was wrong. Not too arrogant to admit it. Yes Mac is bad and will likely not get fixed
Have you or any other posters on this board ever been wrong??
I did not think so

Basically, you want to sit both Bourne and Polk so that the mighty Bell can get reps. What a waste of reps!

It won't help Maye's development for Bell to get more reps. We need to give Boutte and Douglas as many reps as possible, developing them and finding their best roles in a Maye Offense. And yes, we should be playing Polk as the #3. perhaps the coaching staff will be hopeless in developing the four youngsters (these 3 plus Baker), but they need to try so that we know how needy we are at WR going to the off-season.

Unless you expect to have a chance at the playoffs this year, there is no reason for Gibson to get more of the RB reps. The staff is seeing whether we can develop Hasty or whether we replace him next year. If anything, Hasty should be getting even more reps. Stevenson and Gibson are our RB's for the next couple of years.
==========
So, you want to bench Polk instead of TRYING to develop him into a #3 or #4 WR or even #5 WR. And you would do this in order to get reps for Bell. That strategy makes no sense to me. We have a WR asset for four years. The issue is NOT whether Polk was worth drafting in the 2nd round. The issue is whether he is an asset. Giving up on drafted WR's after 10 games in their rookie year is simply poor management.

Bell? What are you seeing? IMO the dude sucks. Completely lost. Not an NFL player. Patriots forcing him to play because they don't want to admit the 2024 draft sucks hind tit.

Nice post.

There is being wrong when it is a close call, and there is being wrong when there is a wide gap. You seem to be confused when it is obvious to most others that there is a wide gap.

No insult intended. You might reconsider being an "analysis trailblazer". That is not your skill.

He actually had a nice crack-back block on one of the last plays before the TD pass... Unfortunately, I never saw that play design executed for the rest of the game...

I agree completely. but the roster is a sick joke, and team leadership is questionable. If the team doesn't adequately address these problems, I would not blame him for getting out when he can. The way things are going, really high-end players are going to have a lot of autonomy by the time his rookie contract is up. Such players will choose where they want to play, and no top player would want to play for an extended period for such bottom-feeder teams as we are at present.
If we still suck after 4 years, sure he might want out by then. But this is just year 1 of the rebuild.

These take time. If we can turn it around in 3 years, that's pretty good.

Year 1, we got our QB, Year 2 we need our LT, Year 3 a premium WR. Hopefully we have other hits as well along the way too.

Only a matter of time before he gets seriously injured. He takes too much contact
It seems like it should be easy to teach and nobody wants to see him learn it the hard way.

Hopefully thats the last we see of osborn, ugh! That play had vintage Josh Allen written all over it and the bum steps out.
Did we ever get a good replay on that call?

I know a lot of people on this board hate Orlovsky, but here is his assessment of Maye against the Bears.

I wouldn't say that I hate him but his Manning connection bothers me.

I wouldn't say I hate him, but, boy, does he take a long time to state the obvious.

Ive caught the very tail of it on some all 22 reviews of maye where it shows his feet out, but i haven’t found anything that shows what led to it and whether he was forcibly pushed out or if he had a chance to muscle his way to stay in. I guess either way hes not allowed to touch the ball first.

Heres another analyst who is very high on maye. Has him above the other 2 right now ( caleb pretty obvious to this point, but suprised he has drake over jayden). Though in the comments ppl claim hes been kind of a jayden hater. No idea how true that is but i see little reason for this guy to hate on anyone.

Daniels has been pretty brilliant but at the same time pitt was the first good defense hes faced and he was awful. He wasn’t very good against Chicago either outside of the hail mary which was pure luck (nice escapability, but the ball never should’ve been caught). The rest of the defenses hes faced have been bottom half.
