He was a guy who was frequently mocked to the Pats coming out of Penn St. I’d support taking a flyer on him. Plus...

I don't know ask TB12?

These players need to tell Trotter and Tommy Boy to go f*ck themselves.

Puts the Broncos in a tough position, though. If they follow the letter of the law of the CBA and refuse to pay both guys, James and Hamilton, that saves them a lot of cap space but could really hurt them in the eyes of the rest of the players on the team and also players across the league….could theoretically impact their ability to attract free agents next offseason. The reality is that the NFL players Association is to blame for signing a CBA with that type of language in the agreement.

It'll be interesting to see how the Pats handle McGrone. if they classify him as NFI, as is likely, Miguel guesses they'll pay him half (that's what they did with Cajuste).

The players really need more protection, even if it's in the form of private insurance.

James is likely to end up getting the same insurance deal that Edelman is expected to get. Wouldn't be surprised if Hamilton got it as well. Though they COULD put Hamilton on the NFI and then a whole different set of rules would apply

Interesting..
