Ben Mason is a mean MFer. Just hard nosed old school football. 6’3” 250 punch you in the mouth kind of player. Tough to stop around the goal line. Man, I can imagine Mason lined up at FB and Stevenson at tailback, holy schickes, that would be tough for a defense, especially with our Oline. Played college ball with Owenwu.

Thanks for the info. It looks like they got all their developmental players back on the roster except Adams (a position where they have a lot of depth)

I'm glad Nixon is back. We never got to see him except for the last game. He'll get hundreds of reps now running scout team routes. Hopefully Earnie Adams' pick will be vindicated.

The only surprise to me is Hoyer. I HAVE to believe that he can carry his salary on to the PS. I don't think he is signing if all he can make is the 80 grand PS players get. Same goes for LaCosse.

I will be very interested in seeing aho the Pats bring in to be the third QB arm.

I really like how this PS is being built. We have WR depth who know the system to back up an already thin group. That goes for DB's as well. I kind of liked Bower this preseason. And most importantly this makes me feel better about keep TWO extra ST's specialists on the 53 man roster.
The way this PS is being built, it doesn't seem like such an egregious error. Players I'd have rather kept than King and Cody Davis will be there anyway.

Edit:: I REALLY want to see Harvey Langi added to the PS at his regular salary, but I think he showed enough to get on a 53 man roster somewhere. Fingers crossed

Hope Langi comes back.
Great to have him at a moments notice.

The list is missing Bill Murray who was one of the earlier signings today. 5 spots left.

Overall, I must say I am pleased the way the P/S is shaping up. Some pretty decent developmental guys in there.
True, and we’ve had some past PS players have made the big team in the past, I could see some of these guys on the 53 this year and next year.

Love Perry’s game and character, fractions of seconds aren’t as important as the quality of the player. Should be really interesting to see what his role will be.

Guess what other sport he played in high school. . . .
