It took a couple of years, but they finally got one of 'em.

Nope. Not every prospect pans out, you try to get as many as you can who will turn into good players but it’s never going to be the dominant outcome. You get 6th and 7th rounders who become great players, and 2nd and 3rd rounders who don’t ever cut it, and that’s the case for most teams using a draft process in any sport, Belichick tends to miss on some second and third round picks, but gets great value from there on out, and the process is focused on strengths, not weaknesses. Overall this has worked out to the tune of 9 AFCC’s and 6 Lombardi’s. If anyone knows who has done better tha past 30 years please go ahead and make your case,

We found our backup QB. Honestly, I never was a big fan. Successful as a running QB vs weak competition. Ran a slow 4.63 forty. For someone so “explosive”, he’s kinda slow. Who knows, maybe he’s the new Edelman, quick instead of fast.
