they ran their mouths like big bad tough guys with a goddamned TOE-SUCKER head coach disgracing the league for years, in the midst of which their "wunderkind!" dreamy superstar QB, Murk Surcharge, stuck his phukkin' head up his lineman's azz and led to HIS scumbag Rats giving up 3 scores in a minute and a half. There is no "could be!!! about their future. They SUCK. Period.
Not to be overly critical, but didn't the three scores come in 55 seconds? It forever changed the meaning of the term 'a New York minute.' It also gave us a superb video of Wrecks mouthing WTF on Thanksgiving.

I have to laugh because Trevor Lawrence is staying in school if the jete have the first pick.

I also have to laugh at the jete history on drafting players.

It was also funny the way the jete lost yesterday.

The funniest of all though would be if Gaze stayed as the HC. That would be out of sight.
Lawrence has said no such thing.

Burrows went to Cinci which is like ;landing in hell.

Lawrence may be waiting to see if the Jete have the #1 pick before he declares.

Hell is a far more desirable landing spot than the NJ Jete.

Did they really rush 7 on that last play? Like 1-15 would have made a difference.

Yes, and left an UDFA CB alone on a 4.3 #1 pick WR.
Which leads me to believe it was intentional. Though I'm confident Lawrence is leaving Clemson, the NYJ would get exactly what they deserve if he were to stay. I hate losers like the NYJ. That was pathetic.

Great article in the Athletic on all this: Hughes: In a season of nothing but losses, even this one stood out for the Jets

It finishes with:

NFL tank update
It was almost the perfect Sunday for the Jets. Not only did they lose, but the Jaguars took the Vikings into overtime. Jacksonville actually had the ball with a chance to win, but quarterback Mike Glennon threw an interception. Minnesota pulled out a 31-28 win.

Here’s a look at the top of the draft order after Sunday’s early games. We’ve listed each team’s record, then strength of schedule. Strength of schedule is the first tiebreaker in determining draft position.
  1. Jets (0-12) || .599
  2. Jaguars (1-11) || .550
  3. Bengals (2-9-1) || .535
  4. Chargers (3-9) || .495
  5. Cowboys (3-8) || .484

yet Gas still has a job? change their name to NY Zits

No they rushed EIGHT!!!

indefensable! 15 seconds left, no time outs, just rush three, guard the sidelines and the endzone, if the catch it in bounds chances are the clock runs out before they can get another snap!

Read a NY article that actually believes 100% that Trevor is going to the Jets and that Darnold is going to land them a boat load of picks.

I don’t believe either. Although I think a 2nd and a 5th is about right if he isn’t too damaged. He’s going to not only have to pass a physical, but also a mental evaluation to access the damage done by this horrid organization.

Darnold is under contract for 2021 after which the team would have to decide on whether or not to offer the 5th year option, which would have to affect his value.

The Patriots could stand to have a young franchise QB but if they were to offer anything more than a 4th round pick for Darnold I would be very disappointed, even if they believed that there was a good chance he could turn his career around.

I'm trying to think of what team would want to take a chance on Darnold. Anyone who needs a QB in the top 10 of the draft will have access to an adequate prospect. That leaves Washington, Chicago, SF, and NE as teams without an obvious #1 QB going forward and not in prime draft position. I think that'd be the same population of teams that would consider trading for Carson Wentz as well if the Eagles have given up on him, but that requires around $25M in cap space opposed to $5M for Darnold.

I have a hate/love relationship with the Jets. I hate them because they are the Jets, they are from New York, and their stupid fans .
I love watching them because no team in all of sports has ever made me laugh more.

Ok, I get that this is a questionable call, but why does Jackson bite on Ruggs’ cheap fake when all he has to do is make sure Ruggs doesn’t get behind him. His technique was awful. He was too high and couldn’t weave enough to keep Ruggs in front of him. Instead, he uses bail technique and mirrors Ruggs, totally risky and unnecessary because he has one job!!! Keep Ruggs in front of him!!!

I would like for the Pats to acquire Sam Darnold. I feel like with great coaching he has long term potential. Unfortunately the Jets won’t deal with us.

Gase is the perfect coach for a team trying to lose on purpose. He won’t get fired until 10 minutes after he completes the 0-16 season
