If he did, do you really expect that they'd notice?
We would trade a 7th for him.

Hope that means Brown AND VV are healthy ( but I doubt it)
Brown, maybe. At least he practiced today (limited).
Hypothetically, VV or MM could be activated any time, since their "8 weeks" expired a couple weeks ago. They could begin practicing with the team on a 3-week (I think) roster exemption at any time.
No need to play them vs MIA.I am hoping one of them comes back before the squealers game. Need to get some reps before that game. It seems likely that neither hogan nor cannon might play against miami
Hardison: 6031/310
... Decent athlete for his position and size:
..... 27 reps .. 25.5 vert .. 107 lj .. 4.52 ss .. 7.35 3-cone
2015 Pick #135 (Arizona St.) > CIN
(coming off college knee injury)
… made CIN-ar, but was inactive evey game
2016 - IR for season at cutdowns (shoulder)
2017 - waived by CIN in cutdowns
… signed to JAX-ps 9/20; waived 11/20
The only DL currently on the Pats PS is Grissom (Mike Purcell was waived last week to open a spot for WR/KR Bernard Reedy).
We may be getting a bit ahead of ourselves here with Reedy.
He may merely have been signed for an extended tryout. It's getting to be that time of year when the Pats start collecting guys they want to hold over on futures contracts.
He may also have been signed for a specific scout team purpose. He kind of duplicates the skill set for McCarron. Perhaps McCarron hasn't worked out well, or perhaps he's been poached by another team and we just haven't heard about it yet (lotta PS poaching going around the league recently).
An imminent promotion to the active roster to "fix" the return game may be among the least likely possibilities.
Dude, wasn't McDermott a 6th round pick in 2017 ? Let's not get crazy yet that the guy got beat in an exhibition game. Remember when the whole board hated Cannon ? Now look at him (when healthy).
Bill would've been better-served by picking an OLman I thought had Patriots Backup LT/LG/C written all over him: Corey Levin, who has remained on Tennessee's active (but not game-day) roster all season and whom I thought made the most sense at OL after Adam Bisnowaty was taken by the vaGiants at 200.Despite the nonsense that consistently comes from the captain lets keep in mind that McDermott was considered a 1st/2nd round prospect by Kiper & co going into his final season.
But who cares if we can just apply hindsight to everything and bash the best front office in football.
Am I the only one who things Eric Lee looks like James Harrison.
He's a big boy
Remember Harrison was on the Ravens practice squad juicing up I mean working hard before he got called up by Steelers.
All I'm saying is if Lee fails a random PED test I wont be surprised.
That being said if he can be a quarter as successful as Harrison was I will be stoked.
I think he immediately looks like a upgrade over Marsh at the worst.

Time will tell, of course.
