Maybe but if you're one of those teams you are looking at developing young WR's Carr and Lucien fit the bill. Did Lucien get released with an injury settlement or just outright? I could see a guy like Braverman perhaps making it through waivers. I guess we'll see by noontime.

There are carrs that got cut by every team. He is a JAG.
Lucien was waived injured. If he isn't claimed THEN he either gets IR or settlement. With settlement he had to stay out length of injury plus 6 weeks.

Thought Foster would make it. Lots of solid RBs out there. Carr and Cody should have a solid chance as well. Im more worried about Karras, O'Shaughnessy, D.Jones..

A quarterback on the PS does seem like a priority now, I'm curious to hear other names. (Also, with Jules down who's the emergency QB?.

Nate Sudfeld, the Redskins 6th round pick, would be my choice

IIRC, settlements must take place within five days of a player being waived.

Would be a small coup to get OS onto the PS. I dont expect anyone to claim Karras since he was in anything but the spotlight but maybe some team has good scouting and the need at IOL.

Agreed.

In this situation, Karras can decide whether to go to a team who wants him as part of their roster, or stay on a team that wants him as part of their practice squad.

Simple rule: teams can claim players after they've been waived. They cannot claim a player off another team's PS, period. [However, there is no requirement that a PS player notify his current team, give them a chance to match, etc.]
