However, within the record books, it is considered a neutral site game for both participants. If we are talking about the Patriots' last road playoff win, SB49 does not count. Similarly, SB 36 and SB38 were not home playoff wins.

Ya smart aleck!!If we go to the Super Bowl this year (knock on wood) we will get to wear the blues if it is Dallas representing the NFC.
I believe our last road playoff win was 06
even if we pull a 4-4 second half like last year we get at least the 2 seed. Mathematically unlikely we lose out to anyone other than the AFC West for seeding purposes.
