I'm going to start by saying I'm not the draft junkie that half of you guys are but the conversations and information has been excellent. I have what I feel is a good idea of how the draft is stacked and where guys I want are going to be drafted....at least for the first couple rounds. One of the things that bugs me is people expecting to get a day 1 starter at pick #31 just because it's a first rounder. Or that they have to have a starter level impact in 2026.

Depending on the draft there are only 10-20 guys like that and they go at the top. By the time we are picking you are getting someone missing something, either production, character, age, traits, or upside. Obviously you need a balance of all of those but I personally rate traits and upside as higher then production when I'm drafting. I'm absolutely fine with any rookie getting in some occasional reps and situationally getting in the game. A first round OT that comes in for jumbo formations or to give old man Moses some rest in a blow out is a perfectly valid use of resources, IF in 2027 they grow into a plus level starter.

The situation the players are drafted into is so much more important then where they are in college. Scheme, coaching, and patience for growth at the end of the day I believe are the key decieding factors on if a player is going to be succesful. Oh and buy in, are they going to continue to give everything they have to improving once they made it and got the bag. There is a universe where Tom Brady was drafted by Cleveland or Arizona and we have never heard of him. I wonder how many other could have been amazing guys we never got to see. Anyway all that to lead into my dream draft I would be doing back flips over if we got it

#31 Max Iheanachor OT
#63 Dani Dennis-Sutton Edge
#95 Oscar Delp TE
#125 Kyle Louis LB
#131 Sam Roush TE
#171 Emmanuel Pregnon G
#191 Cole Wisniewski S
#198 Kaden Wetjen WR
#202 Ephesians Prysock CB
#212 Adam Randall RB
#247 Trey Moore Edge

Yup. We're basically picking from the early-middle prospects graded as 2nd rounders. Especially this year where there are so few first round grades. Still, in the words of Shawshank, "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies".

Love a good Andy Dufresne quote

We've had stars from the 6th & 7th rounds and good players from the UDFA chaos.

Yup. 3 is normally enough. I have a feeling it was won with 4 last year.
I think I know this as I put up the original post for the 2024 contest when patsfansfromoversea broke the record with 4. At the time I went back through Patchick's old annual draft contest posts to try and check if it was a record or not (and I've just quickly double checked).

What I found was only 1 or 2 picks right was the winner for every year except 2010, 2019, 2024 and 2025.

In 2010, 8 posters got 3 correct! On her results post Patchick said 3 correct had not ever been done before in all the previous contests she had run.

After that only 2s and 1s correct again, until in 2019 oceansizer equalled the record with 3.

In 2024 Patsfanfromoversea broke the record with 4 picks right, and two others got 3. In 2025 two posters got 3 picks correct.

To my knowledge, 3 picks or more has only been achieved 14 times, and only in 4 drafts 2010, 2019, 2024 and 2025. Every other year, 1 or 2 picks correct is the max.

Off to a rousing start thus far. Unlike the past two years where Maye and Campbell were practically the free space in bingo no one predicted Lomu, probably cuz no one thought he'd fall or as a LT was a fit.

Mark Morse and Borisman with 2 correct. Zimmy had 2 correct, but took Gabe Jacas out of his final list.

I was 0 for 11.

Gabe Jacas, Eli Raridon, and Karon Prunty were the only 3 players correctly projected.

I got Raridon. Even one is rare for me.
