Yup. We're basically picking from the early-middle prospects graded as 2nd rounders. Especially this year where there are so few first round grades. Still, in the words of Shawshank, "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies".One of the things that bugs me is people expecting to get a day 1 starter at pick #31 just because it's a first rounder. Or that they have to have a starter level impact in 2026.
Depending on the draft there are only 10-20 guys like that and they go at the top. By the time we are picking you are getting someone missing something, either production, character, age, traits, or upside.
