What is the joy in making a super bowl you will be blown out in?

We’ve won and lost Super Bowls in every manner possible. I think we have a better handle on this question.

So if I understand this right… the Patriots are only in the SUPER BOWL… because they had an easy schedule… and next season they won’t even make the playoffs at all, despite the fact that they have a significant amount of cap space and are only in year 1 of a rebuild this year, and their QB is only in year 2… But also, the Bills will be much more successful next year now that they’ve fired Sean McDermott, promoted Brandon Beane, and are letting Josh Allen potentially hire Phillip Rivers to be the new head coach… despite being over the cap, and the owner trash talking players still on the roster… oh, and Mahomes will be back… but next year is definitely their year!!!

Do I have that right?

Buffalo forum has been moving the goalposts since the wild card round. We were going to lose every game according to them

As to the lucky/cheating/whatever other reason they're better than you Patriots...
You win 14 games and could obviously made it with at least 2 more losses (see Buffalo) and the story is how easily you got there.
You allow 3, 16, and 7 points, and the story every week of the playoffs has been "Oh noes, the Pats can't compete with THOSE defenses...."Not a word of respect for the defense that KEEPS BEATING PEOPLE.
You beat teams in the fall and it's "Oh noes this team won't ever be able to play in football weather."
You beat teams in weather and it's "Oh noes you wouldn't have beat these guys in normal weather."
