Chargers are a well coached team with a QB that can make every throw. Obviously injuries, especially to their o-line have hurt them this year but they are still a good team.

I expect Harbaugh to mix up the run with O. Hampton who came back a few weeks ago with some play action to try and open up the D. They got good skill players - Hampton at RBwho had a good rookie year even though he missed half the season, McConkey, Allen, and Johnston are a nice mix at WR. Allen and Johnson have good size, McConkey the chain mover. Gadsden had a nice rookie year at TE. If I’m Vrabel I’m playing man on early downs and putting an extra man in the box. With the Chargers o-line issues I want to suffocate them and not give Herbert any time.

On O, spread them out and let Maye negate the rush with some quick throws. I expect a good game with 2 well coached teams.

24 - 17 Patriots win

Chargers fans will be so full California.

Jackasses.

terrible time thats our bedtime

I don't think there are any walkovers in the playoffs this year. Including Carolina, they are scrappy bunch at home. Already beat LA at home this season. Not that I expect that result but I truly think every team has a legit shot at running the table this year (outside Carolina).
I think Pittsburgh, the chargers, jags, Texans, packers, bears, panthers and 49ers have no shot.

SB will be one of Patriots, bills, broncos against one of Eagles, Seahawks, Rams.
Just my opinion, I’m sure it’s different than anyone else’s.

The Chargers mailed it in the last two weeks. Expect more of the same next Sunday night when they play in the bitter Foxboro cold.

The Chargers had "mailed it in" because they were in the play-offs and didn't care about seeding. They were also nursing a series of pretty substantial injuries.

No. I won't expect more of the same and it's not supposed to be "Bitter cold". It's supposed to in the 30s with a slight wind. That's a far cry from the mid 20's, dampness in the air, and 20-30mph winds with a heavy windchill.

Hebert, McConkey, Johnston, Allen, Gadsen.

Guys to keep an eye on because they didn't play in week 18:
Omarion Hampton - RB
Elijah Molden - CB
Jamaree Salyer - OL
Nikko Reed - DB

The Chargers offense has 3 TEs can could cause the Pats issues in Dissly, Gadsen and Conklin.

On the Chargers defense, Tuipoulotu and Mack are the two guys to account for. I expect Henry and Steveson to do a lot of chipping in this game to help out the O-line.

I'm curious if anyone has access to how often the Chargers blitz, how often they run stunts/twists, and how they are against the run.

The Chargers secondary is solid, but the Pats should be able to use Chism/Diggs/Boutte with Henry/Hooper to pick it apart.

A playoff game being exclusively on prime is criminal. This nonsense needs to stop.

According to PFF (I know…I know…)
Thru last week:
Anderson/Hunter/Rankins: 212 pressures
TT/Mack/Oweh: 152 pressures

PFF is actually very good for tracking things like Pressures and snaps and such. It's their subjective grading that people typically find issue with.

Looking ahead, Denver's defense is very good but their offense is beatable. Bo Nix only had one completion over 10 yards today.

I had this game on the second TV. Nix was bad. If the chargers had an NFL QB they would have easily won this game. Trey Lance is horrible. There are at least 100 better QBs some unemployed.

I disagree on the 49ers and Seattle. I know what happened on Saturday. I just think Darnold is too much of a turnover machine and that will likely be the reason they don't get there. Also, think SF is better than what they showed on Saturday. I agree with the rest. With that said I think it's as wide open as its ever been.
