I like the idea. Diggs only issue has been health and availability. The idea of him and Gonzo together is intriguing.. the other side of it is.. with the lingering situation with Stef does Vrabel make a move on him?Trevon Diggs was released by the Cowboys yesterday. The 27 year old CB wanted to go to DC to be with family for the holidays after their game on Xmas and was denied. At any rate, he is currently a free Agent who can sign with anyone for the playoff push. He's a quality DB on a team in need of defensive help, and OBTW, it will be easy to see his brother.
He is a bigger CB and I could see him being a guy you can match up with one of those prolific receiving TE's we see so often now. Mapu or Diggs? Think about it.
Exactly correct and there was another DB who didn't succeed here and went to indy and became a pro bowler.. Kenny Moore is believe???This isn't a great argument; e.g., Darius Butler succeeded in Indy after failing here, and Van Noy couldn't get playtime on the Lions before succeeding here.

Butler was an UDFA too ? We traded for KVN from Detroit and he was phenomenal for us and is still good.. but Kenny Moore mentioned that there were times he questioned if he wanted to even play football as his time here was so tough for him. Sometimes players need different types of coaching..that is where Vrabel thrives at.... sure you give every player on the roster the coaching they need. But some players you have to really address differently.Yes. Slight difference in that Moore was an UDFA who just missed making the roster and was claimed by the Colts, so he didn't really flame out the way that Butler/Van Noy did.
Wut??Browns.
Pitt cut him.
I disagree I Don't like testing the depth after our Top 3. I would go get him for better depth: Miles Austin sucks too.
Well I remember the BB Teams having much better depth at CB than this Mike Vrabel Team. Our CB depth is abysmal.
No, he was just with Pitt before coming here Signed as a free agent.Browns.
Pitt cut him.
Yeah Troy Brown and Edelman CB played much than those Stiffs we have as back-ups. Of course those BB Defenses had a better pas rush. Alex Austin was the worst ranked CB PFF the stats don't lie.2
Belichick had to use WR,s as cornerbacks numerous times.

Vrabel was buried behind the great LBs in depth at Pittsburgh at the time. He probably was one of the best FA signings BB every did at the position.. Vrabel played inside, outside, could put his hand in the dirt.. and then went and caught TDs for Brady...Wut??
AA. Stands for Automatic Austin.. anytime he's on the field it's an automatic first down..Gladd he stayed in the AFC and not end up on Buffalo.
V-Lowe made himself some FA $$$$$$ Marrone did a good job on him made him serviceable. That said we never want to get into our depth pass our Big 3 @ CB.Alex Austin hasn't seen the field in ages. And their depth has fared much better than anyone ever expected over the course f the season. No one was harder on Verdarian Lowe than I was but he played really well filling in for Campbell.
It's not a "nit-pick". It's not hard to open up a 2nd tab to make sure you've got the player's name right.Nit-pick much DB?? Alex Austin.
Contracts aren't something I really understand a whole lot;, I thought that if you're released, you'd have to sign him to a new contract. And I don't see him taking $500k for a year. Am I wrong in that understanding?
Moore stated that he absolutely hated his time with the Pats and almost quit football altogether.Yes. Slight difference in that Moore was an UDFA who just missed making the roster and was claimed by the Colts, so he didn't really flame out the way that Butler/Van Noy did.
