The browns are a top 5 pass defense too, probably were a few slots higher before our game last week. We should be fine

Pats are bottom of the league running the ball. This looks like a bad match up right now. Especially with Rham out.
Time for the fullback and 6th OL??

Maye clears 200 passing yards easily vs Atlanta. We will out-physical them(OL/DL/Hendo/Jennings/Westover/Hollins etc..) Once we wear them down, Hendo will show them why he’s called “Must-see TV”

You seem to presume that PS joe will be able to replace Stevenson's numbers.

Im referring to the passing game above. I think Maye will be fine. In regards to the run, Henderson ran well last week minus the fumble which will be a point of emphasis.

We’re the better team by a margin right now and Atlanta is complete ass outdoors this year. We should win comfortably unless we beat ourselves.

If Jennings can consistently hit 3-4 yards per carry that should be enough to draw attention to play action . That's been our staple . So would hope for Mcdaniels to keep the run game on even if we have relatively lesser success.

Rooting for Henderson zone runs .

You seem to think the guy whose name you don’t know will be RB1.
I’m not worried about finding 35 yards in 10 carries, or that a little less would be a disaster.

I see all the usual chicken littles are out. The Patriots are getting better every week and Atlanta has been going in the opposite direction. The OL has a much bigger impact on the running game than any running back. There is a reason why we are 5.5 point favorites and every person on NFL.com has picked the Pats. Could we lose of course but the all the hand ringing about Stephenson being out is a little much. But not surprising and by the usual suspects.

one of the Browns problems is that their defense, while good, is on the field to damn much because their offense is hot trash. Atlanta has a better offense than the Browns so their defense might not collapse in the 2nd half.

I think the Pats win by at least 10

Pretty obvious since he hasn’t practiced all week. “Must see TV” time…

It should never have come to this. They should've been looking for a vet the day after Gibson was lost.

I think D'Ernest Johnson could do a job for them.

He played for the Browns against the Pats on November 14, 2021.

His numbers: 19 carries, 99 yards (5.2 avg), long 24, 0 TD; 7 catches, 58 yards, long 18, on 8 targets. Not that it helped much. The final score was Browns 7 Patriots 45.

Weirdly, the Browns scored first in that game!

Trivia question (no Googling): who scored the first touchdown?

Jakobi Meyers?
